Okay, I will admit that this was not my favorite as series go, but I still like it. I am however getting bored with it and feel that it's been too drawn out. Does anyone else feel this way?
Should have ended a looong time ago. Just kill everyone already and be done with it.
it should have ended after chosen..the whole thing is just going on and on for no reason..
well i stopped reading after book 5 beacuse i was starting to use it as anti-insomnia medication... i think it should have ended long, long time ago, actually i kind of thought it did...
Ok so i think that maybe this series needs to end. I absolutely love the series and all the characters (especially Stevie-Rae) but now it's getting to the point where nothing is happening and it's just a bunch of words put on a page. Either start a new series with a completely new series of events or just give up. I'm sad to say this but it's time to end this.
I couldn't even get through the third book. I actually, for the first time ever thought to myself, why am I wasting my time with something I don't like.
This series is awesome I don't know why people don't like these books yes there are a lot of books in the series but new stuff happens in each book and in each book they get closer to killing Neferet and destroying the darkness I just finished Hidden and I loved it I thought it was very well written and I could not put this book down looking forward to the next two books after Hidden coming out in fall 2013 and the last book in 2014 this is jut my opinion though
Will admit I haven't read past the first few; I own them, but it got to the stage when there was another book coming out every few months and I thought I'd rather save them and read them all at once at the end of the series... which still hasn't happened. I haven't bought any of the novella's and have no intention of it.
Yes and No. I think the series as it stands should end but that the main characters should be placed into a new more adult series. I mean how many books can they write surrounding the power struggles in the House of Night. Time to maybe make Zoey an adult, Aprodite a defunct exotic dancer with a serious coke habit,, and stevie ray as a taylor swift spin off star who occasionally drains her opening acts.
I am getting totally bored with this series. They are taking waaaay too long to wrap this series up! So I agree 100%. It seems to me that the authors or publishers are more concerned with making money than quality reading entertainment. I lost interest about 3 books ago, but my husband kept buying me the next in the series, so I figured I'd get my money's worth.
I like a nice long book series but this does need to end soon.
actually the first and second book is o.k! but then it becoming boring now!
I've been delaying reading the last book because I'm a bit bored with it :/
I loved all the books I can't wait until the next one comes out.

Blame the publisher that gave them a 12 book contract. (not including the Novellas)

Yea definitely agree.. stopped reading the books around 7 or 8 because of disinterest
I think I gave up on this series around book 5, it just needed to end. She needs to let it go and write something new....
i start hateing this book after the 5 book and i hope they end it befor i kill my self !!!!!!
i liked the first couple of books and couldn't wait til next book. but after about the 4th book, i was over it..havn't even read the last couple...i don't like not finishing a series..but i just can't bring myself to read them either.
dear god i despise that book. it was to painful to complete >.<
Ok, so maybe I admit that the series needs to end, even though I love it so very much, but you can't say you don't want to know even just a LITTLE bit what happens after Nerefet is defeated. One thing that I am hoping for is that Nerefet dies and that she won't plead (for real this time) for forgiveness. I wouldn't forgive her. She killed Jack, and she killed Zoey's mother just when she was coming around and left her boyfriend. She better die.
YES! this is the sort of book that most typical romance-obsessed teenage girl would be able to enjoy (Yes, I'm self professed), but when it gets right down to it... It's really not that good. I read these when i was maybe 13 and I found myself getting bored. when a thirteen year old book worm gets bored with romance, you know something has gone seriously wrong.
**SOME SPOLIERS PRESENT**
I liked her in the beginning, but now what's-her-face is just annoying. Is it zoey? I don't even remember, I haven't read the last two books. Honestly, I got bored after Heath "died". He was my favorite character.

I really want it to end but it will just haunt me if I don't know what happens to all the characters, so I keep reading.
Okay, I used to obsess over this series, now I like it, and I still want to keep reading, but I do think it should have ended at Untamed.

Yes! It carries on too much about the bird things. I read the books a while ago, i can't remember their names.
Yes, it needs to be over. I JUST finished the most recent book that came out - I thought the one last year would be the last in the series, imagine my suprise when I finished the book and I could tell there was more to come. I thought this year's HAD to be the end, but NOPE! My favorite book so far is when Zoey's soul shatters and Stark has to go find her in the Otherworld, I think they are in Scotland? Loved it, but mostly because of the romantic elements. That should have been a book on it's own, I am tired of this dragging on and on!
I actually love these books, they make me laugh (though that's not what the authors were really intending) but I do agree, they need to start wrapping up. Especially as, in terms of timeline, the whole 11 books accounts for maybe 3 months in total. That's crazy to me. I don't know how they can wrap it up though, is Zoey still going to destroy Kalona in a fiery field with everyone else dead? Did they forget that prophesy? And be fair to Zoey, she's been exclusively with stark for like, two books. She's maturing!
I enjoyed the first 3 books, but then after that...it got boring and I started to dislike the characters a lot. This series really needs to end.
I just finished Burned and it feels like each book is just getting more and more pointless.
I got soo fed up of it after the 5th book. I gave up on it. But now that I see all these books coming out I feel like restarting the whole series again and actually finishing it if the books would stop coming out.
i loved this series at the start but it just seems the more books in the series the more i start to dislike it and after the 5 book i really lost interest in reading the series
I do, however, love the novellas with the back story of the characters. They can keep those coming!
I was feeling that way while reading Hidden. I agree, it seems not a lot is happening in each book anymore, its all dragged out between a few scenes in each book. Still love the characters, and the basic story, though. Also it feels like nothing shocks me anymore.
I really liked the series but something isn't right.Personally I think that the same thing is happening again and again and I'd really like to see some plot twists. It's just that the plot isn't that interesting anymore.
I'd also appreciate it if you could check out my new blog here:http://bookladysreviews.tumblr.com/ Thanks

Am i the only one who thinks she isn't a slut? Jebus it's just another girl through everyday life but with vampires
I am in love with this series but really neferet needs to stop causing trouble. kolona was much more interesting when he was evil. I think the series should go until the author feels they should stop.
If it were a good series, I would hate for it to end because I do love my series... But Zoe is... A ... Unrelateable mc.
Yeah, it definitely needs to end. I use to really love this series, but now I've really dragged my heels on even buying the last book. At some point you just have to say enough.
This series really has gone on too long. I find that I can't remember what's happened in the last book or what's the cliff hanger to carry on to the next book. It just seems to be dragging it on and on... definitely needs to come to an end.
there's way too many books, it needs to end because the plot really just isn't interesting enough anymore. and also, is super confusing
The series started out good but as the books went on it started to drag on and the plot was too confusing. I found that especially when it started changing from each character's perspective there was too much going on, so I lost interest and stopped reading them ages ago. I can't believe they haven't finished yet and yes it needs to end.
When I started to read this series I loved it, now...not so much. I feel that it is being drawn out and seems like the books are taking longer to come out then some of the other series. I understand when the author gets bored and they do spin-offs or novellas but I just can't take it anymore. I don't know how much longer I can wait around or read the next book before I say screw this series.
