I so agree with you! "Persuasion" is my favourite Austen book. It is more mature than the others, and I really liked both Anne and Wentworth.

40. Mr. Popper's Penguins I have to add the books I'm reading with my son or I'll never make it to 50 (might not any way!!)/

42. Any Bitter Thing read this one....interesting take on the Priest issues of the past. I liked this one much more than the creepy priests who are interested in children--even though he did some unpriestly things (does this make any sense?).

I've not had much time to read adult or even books of choice because my son chose not to take any AR tests all fall; He's far behind in his reading, so we're reading each evening --I read a page/he reads a page. It's actually kind of fun and I love Andrew Clements books! Getting kids thinking and talking about issues without scaring or being condescending!
