I've not had much time to read adult or even books of choice because my son chose not to take any AR tests all fall; He's far behind in his reading, so we're reading each evening --I read a page/he reads a page. It's actually kind of fun and I love Andrew Clements books! Getting kids thinking and talking about issues without scaring or being condescending!

38. Persuasion After re-reading this, it might be my new favorite Jane Austen book ever! I love Captain Wentworth....and the movie with Ciaran Hinds isn't too bad either!!!

I so agree with you! "Persuasion" is my favourite Austen book. It is more mature than the others, and I really liked both Anne and Wentworth.

39. The Girl Who Played with Fire Great book! It's excellent ==an interesting followup to the first book in the series. Can't wait for #3.

41. Cranford O.K. I listened to it while I knit some Christmas gifts.....but I think I'll have to count it because I'm behind!

42. Any Bitter Thing read this one....interesting take on the Priest issues of the past. I liked this one much more than the creepy priests who are interested in children--even though he did some unpriestly things (does this make any sense?).
