For my cat.2 The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett

jzhunagev-you can only nominate one book (and Heather already nominated Pillars)

You know thats the sequel right? I think that Bloodsucking Fiends has to be read before moving on to the sequel. :)

Jzhunagev - She is right, you only get one nomination. So I took the first one.
Becky - Kite Runner was already nominated.
Andrew - I put You Suck in catagory one. Its not what I would consider a love story/romance novel really, and Lisa, you are correct, Bloodsucking Fiends should be read first.... Im totally OCD with my series.

Thanks, my nomination would be The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama.
Thanks for doing just that Lori.

Katerina, that is an awesome book.
If I hadn't already nominated a book, I'd second the nomination of this one :-)

Kim, right now we are nominating the books to be voted on. Voting polls will be opened thursday nite or friday.... depending when I can get them set up.
So we have one more day to get noms in.

I really hope that this doesn't come across wrong, and I also hope that I'm not stepping on toes. I just thought it sounded like a good idea since there's not much for a March theme that I can think of other than St. Patrick's day. Granted, there's probably something I'm not thinking of... that is usually my luck. :)
Non fiction can be nominated at any time ... its not only for fiction books. I dont think it is necessary to have seperate catagories for that. Its just at the members discretion to vote for them.
I was thinking for March that would could nominate a book written by an Irish author, or taking place in Ireland. Just an idea.

Let's start nominating novels we would like to see become a group read for February. There will be two catagories for the novels to be voted in. (1)Regular fiction/non fiction or (2) Love/Romance.
Please nominate one book per person.
YOU MUST HAVE:
title and author
the catagory you are nominating it in
If your post does not have title, author or catagory, it will not be accepted.
It is not necessary to second or third someones nomination. If it is nominated, it will be placed in the voting polls.
I will leave the nomination thread open for 3 days. So we have until Thursday night to get our noms in.
Then, I will create two seperate polls in which we can place our votes.
