Wonderful! I have just been so inundated with NA lately that I'm ready for a break. I just saw that
is free today on Amazon. So I read some reviews and of course it's rated something like 4.5 overall. That was true of and I didn't like that book at all. NA is just so hit and miss for me, and it tends to be so formulaic that I just have to be in the mood for it.

I would like to do buddy reads for at some point. I do like Abbi Glines. I just wish these NA authors would give the whole "I'm seriously damaged and love will heal all my wounds" thing a rest. I know it's fiction, but really?

Good grief, this has turned into a rant. Sorry about that! I'm excited for and you know how much I love reading with you all!

P.S. I read the whole Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout and can't wait for the next one. Really enjoyed it - it's more sci-fi than NA. I also liked Easy well enough, but I don't think it's as good as Beautiful Disaster or Walking Disaster.

And what is it with these covers? They suck you in and then the book is such a disappointment. No fair!

Darn, Callie and Kayden isn't free for me! That would have been awesome! I totally agree with you on the NA rant, but I really don't take these books that seriously. is a really good one, I enjoyed that one a lot!
So later we can do Hopeless and the Vincent Boys. I've been wanting to read the Vincent Boys for a long time!

David--I just finished Shadow & Bone and it was AMAZING! A great fantasy!
Also: CHEATER!!! lol

Jen--I don't have a copy of Siege and Storm yet, I don't think any of the 6 libraries I am a member of have it yet! (Isn't that nuts??? You'd think one of them would!) I have to do some budgeting, I might just decide to go ahead and buy the ebook, because I really want to read it!

I've got an AWESOME treat for you :) I've tricked...I mean...convinced...Barry Lyga, the author of and to drop by and participate in (answer questions, chat about his books, characters, etc) if we do a buddy read of one or both of his books!! So, who would be interested? Has anyone not read I Hunt Killers yet but wants to? Has anyone read I Hunt Killers, and wants to read the sequel, Game? Barry's got a serious deadline he's working on, but said if we do it early September he should be OK to participate. Eeeeeep I'm SO EXCITED!!

See here's the thing: I just moved my "baby" daughter (the last of 5) into college last weekend. I have officially run out of people to boss around. Unfortunately, I have to seize my opportunities where I see them. You could sort of call it a Siege and Storm situation. : )
