Uh, oh. I didn't like that movie. Also, I know she is supposed to be super self-absorbed, but I already despise the MC. I knew girls like that in HS and (guilt creeping up) may even hung out with them. That just means room for growth right?
Hehe yep! They are very hateable for most of the book but they're very well developed and all in all, I liked the book. But yeah, Groundhog's Day lol!!
David, when will The Earth Dwellers be available on paperback? I've got the paperbacks to Fire Country and Ice Country, but I'm asking the hubby to complete the collection for my birthday, but that's in about 10 days :)
Hehe aww yay!! That's so sweet of you (and hubby!). The paperbacks will be available the same day as the ebooks, no later than September 5th. But to let you in on a little secret...the paperbacks tend to be available 3-5 days early as I'm always worried there will be delays with Createspace ;) Unfortunately they won't be out in time for your bday though, but not too long after :)

I will. As soon as I figure out my feelings and post my review. Should be one day this week.

I've been having a really hard time getting into any books lately. Nothing is catching my interest and holding me. I think I'm just anxious for a lot of new books coming out in the next few months.

I had an issues with this one.
I really didn't like Before I fall. Full rant here.I'm reading Fire Country right now, and I'll start Darkest Minds as soon as I finish!

I've done that, but usually right after I've just read a really good book or book series and am going through withdrawals.
You just need to find the right next book to read that'll peak your interest again, likeskylarks! Maybe when one of those new book releases, you'll find your book spark again! :)

that's what I'm hoping for, there are plenty of books I want to read they just haven't been released. and I am bad with waiting, really bad.

Today was a good start in the readathon! I finished 2 books--
and
Uglies was very good, I really liked the world building and the basic premise, so I will definitely continue on with this series! Dreamland was really sad--I was expecting a pretty light summer read, and it was pretty dark and deep, actually. It dealt with a girl whose boyfriend hits her, so very deep subject matter there! I liked it, and thought it was well done on tackling that specific subject, but I just wasn't expecting it!
Tomorrow I'm going to start my reread of

Cool! I can't wait to see what you think of how Westerfeld remakes Tali in each book, it's way cool!

I've finished Release Me - J. Kenner. Is kinda like Fifty Shades and Bare To You style book, so intense are the characters that I throughly enjoyed it. Now I can't decide whether to read next installment or carry on reading something I started lol.
I am reading
which I borrowed from Amazon's Lending Library. It is a bit scifi and fantasy and young adult. I may not have even attempted to read it if not in the Lending Library but I have to say it has kept me in there all the way. The main guy so far is named Hoodwink. Doesn't that alone make you want to read it?? Yeah!I just want to say that I am so grateful for all the new books I have found on this site. I am a member of this YA group (specifically dystopian) and the Post Apocalypse site and I love both genres.
I found the
and
here and
and of course David's series
many more. I know I don't seem to participate that much but have begun to at least attempt to give a review along with my rating when I have read a book. It is so important for not only the author but for the reader to make choices on what books to spend our time on. I am just sending out a huge thank you to all of you who have helped me to find these new adventures and loves. And that is all of you.
Just started reading The 5th Wave! Pretty good, somewhat slow paced though.
Also started Lullaby, nothing too much has happened but I like this style of writing :)
Today I read
and enjoyed it, I love Elizabeth Eulberg. She writes good contemporaries! Also reread
and I loved it just as much the second time around! (view spoiler)

I'm reading
, and I like it a lot so far. The main character reminds me a bit of Juliette from Shatter Me.
