I finished reading Life As We Knew It (Last Survivors, #1) by Susan Beth Pfeffer and I agree with both David and Jen, if that's possible! I liked it and gave it 4 stars, but I get David's point about something missing. I think it was because it was such a narrow narrative. I want to read the rest of the series, though.

Also finished The End Games by T. Michael Martin and it disappointed me a little. I gave it 3 stars. The concept and mystery of it was cool, but I just didn't like the style of writing.

Finished This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith and I loved this one, a great fun contemporary, although not realistic.

Read Rise (Eve, #3) by Anna Carey and this one really disappointed me. It was a terrible ending book of the trilogy. If you have not read the Eve trilogy, I definitely don't recommend it based solely on this book. I gave it 3 stars and that was being generous.

Also finished The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan and I enjoyed it, it was very creepy! I will be reading the rest of this series.

Then started my reread of Inkheart (Inkworld, #1) by Cornelia Funke and loving it so far!

Read the first story in Wool Wool (Wool, #1) by Hugh Howey and I'm completely hooked already!

Also finished Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1) by Leigh Bardugo and it was just AMAZING! A perfect 5 star fantasy read!

Also just finished Keeping the Castle by Patrice Kindl and this one was lol funny! A very, cute shortish story that reminded me a lot of Jane Austen, but funnier! I've never heard a marriage proposal from a gentleman that involves calling the lady a "booby!" LOL

Whew, think I'm caught up on here now! Not sure what I"m reading next.

Maybe we should read The Dead and the Gone (Last Survivors, #2) by Susan Beth Pfeffer as our next buddy read. Jen? I'm also kind of interested in continuing the series.

And so happy you liked Wool (Wool, #1) by Hugh Howey . I loved Proper Gauge (Wool, #2) by Hugh Howey . Loved all of them actually with 4 being my least favorite out of the 5 but still loved the series!

There is definitely more to it!! Keep reading :) I'm almost done and I've enjoyed it, although I think it should have been one book and quite a bit shorter, I'm getting a little bogged down in the detail. But overall, this book is pretty darn good!
