Definitely! I hate/love Celeste though.

I love her because she adds some excitement in the day to day running of the palace and I hate because, well, duh! If you read the book you'll know what I mean.

Ruby Black (ruby_black) Reading The Letter of Napolean to Josephine

It's nonfiction; compilation of letters Napolean Bonaparte wrote to his first wife Josephine.

That one was my favorite as well. I gave up on the series after book 8 or 9 though.

I just finished Star Cursed (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #2) by Jessica Spotswood and it was SO GOOD!! But a total shocking thing that happened at the end, it ripped my heart in two for Cate! And I now want to pull all of Maura's hair out!

message 3764: by chucklesthescot (new)

chucklesthescot Typical that I wasn't too keen on The Burning Time by J.G. Faherty . Maybe it's because I don't read Lovecraft that I wasn't really getting into it. Oh well, you can't love everything!

Now reading Monster Hunter International (MHI, #1) by Larry Correia . Good so far but I hope this crush story doesn't ruin it.

Holly (skizzles22hju) | 197 comments I just finished Everbound (Everneath, #2) by Brodi Ashton and I freaking loved it! Working my way through three books in the next couple of days: The Madman's Daughter (The Madman's Daughter, #1) by Megan Shepherd , The Torturer's Daughter by Zoe Cannon , and Who He Is (FireNine, #1) by S. Q. Williams

Somehow this book was a mix of Cinderella and Hunger Games. :)

Right? :) I usually have YA mixed in there, but I don't have my next YA book in hard copy and I hate reading 2 books on my Kindle at a time.

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments I just finished Undercurrent by Paul Blackwell last night, and I have to figure out my feelings so I can post the review on Friday. I'm currently reading Harry, a History The True Story of a Boy Wizard, His Fans, and Life Inside the Harry Potter Phenomenon by Melissa Anelli but I don't know if I'm going to be able to get through it. I'm not typically a fan of non-fiction, but I was in an HP mood and got sucked into the sample a few nights ago. I've had a harder time getting into the story since.

message 3786: by Hazel (new)

Hazel West | 70 comments Let's see, I finished Road to Camlann The Death of King Arthur by Rosemary Sutcliff (4 stars. Not my favorite of Rosemary's books, and I was sad she didn't present Mordred in a more sympathetic light, but it was still good) The Dead of Winter by Chris Priestley (5 stars, awesomely creepy, classic ghost story) Pagan's Vows (Pagan Chronicles, #3) by Catherine Jinks (4 stars, another good installment. Possibly even my favorite yet)

I'm now reading By These Ten Bones by Clare B. Dunkle which I'm enjoying a lot and just got The Lost Sun (The United States of Asgard, #1) by Tessa Gratton from the library today and am planning on starting tonight. I've been waiting for it for quite a while, so I'm very excited =)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments Working on Green The Beginning and the End (The Circle, #0) by Ted Dekker on audio, but I also have the print version and am infinitely more interested in that as I can read much faster! I also read an ebook today and picked up The Fetch by Laura Whitcomb and am starting it, although I'm also re-reading Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare on audio. Daniel Sharman is absolutely unequalled in his narration.

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments I need to start Ghost Time by Courtney Eldridge for an ARC tour, but I'm procrastinating. I'm feeling a lot of pressure to read lately, and it's making me not want to read. Certainly not helping my "overwhelmed by the sheer number of books I have/want to read" situation going on lately! lol The more pressure I feel to read, the less I want to read, but the less I read, the more pressure I feel to read. It's a vicious cycle!
