Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments I read City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3) by Cassandra Clare last weekend - which was really good, love Cassandra Clare! I'm going to wait on the next 3 until it's closer to the release of the third book. Also just finished If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman and Where She Went (If I Stay, #2) by Gayle Forman . The sequel was better than the first book - wow, kept me guessing! And narrated by Dan Bittner, who is fabulous (sigh). I'm kind of on a contemporary romance kick at the moment, waiting for Karen to do the buddy read of Unraveling (Unraveling, #1) by Elizabeth Norris .

4th in line, Jen, for Unraveling (Unraveling, #1) by Elizabeth Norris

And good stopping point for TMI! She should have just ended at book 3. I didn't like the next 2 that much. It's a whole new series. Weird. She should have just called it something different.

message 3253: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) Last night I listened to Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen which I throughly enjoyed, made me laugh at all sorts of bits in the audio. I've since gone on to read The Mirror of the Soul - J. Lloyd Morgan which is different to what I normally read. Quite good so far.

I'm holding judgement until I read the final book. I think originally the series was just supposed to be a trilogy, but then she had an idea to expand the series...

message 3260: by Michael (new)

Michael Tyrer (holden) | 55 comments hardly read anything this past couple of months , mainly due to loads of stress in my life via work and friendship , so today I decided to read ' the star dwellers ' as I find David's books are my bankers, I've not read a bad one yet and I was saving the rest of this series for a needy day, which is today, his characters ( especially Adele ) I find put me in a place I enjoy and help me help myself to get through those times that are difficult , this I feel is a wonderful skill he has and makes me smile knowing I've got some brighter days ahead engrossed in his visions, thanks David for what I know is going to carry me through tough times ahead.

Also finished You Are Mine (Mine, #1) by Janeal Falor and I really liked it as well! It was very different and creative, and a good debut for a new author.

Now reading Dust and Decay (Benny Imura, #2) by Jonathan Maberry and I'm loving it so far!

I also finished Feedback (Variant, #2) by Robison Wells which was definitely not as good as the first book, Variant. There wasn't much action in the book and the big reveal was boring.

Now I'm listening to Unwind by Neal Shusterman in Playaway format and reading The Popularity Papers Book Four The Rocky Road Trip of Lydia Goldblatt & Julie Graham-Chang by Amy Ignatow and Reaching for Sun by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer all of which I'm really enjoying.
