I read
last weekend - which was really good, love Cassandra Clare! I'm going to wait on the next 3 until it's closer to the release of the third book. Also just finished
and
. The sequel was better than the first book - wow, kept me guessing! And narrated by Dan Bittner, who is fabulous (sigh). I'm kind of on a contemporary romance kick at the moment, waiting for Karen to do the buddy read of
.

4th in line, Jen, for
And good stopping point for TMI! She should have just ended at book 3. I didn't like the next 2 that much. It's a whole new series. Weird. She should have just called it something different.

Last night I listened to Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen which I throughly enjoyed, made me laugh at all sorts of bits in the audio. I've since gone on to read The Mirror of the Soul - J. Lloyd Morgan which is different to what I normally read. Quite good so far.

Yay, Rot & Ruin totally surprised me too as I usually steer clear of zombies. Can't wait to read the sequel with you :)

I'm holding judgement until I read the final book. I think originally the series was just supposed to be a trilogy, but then she had an idea to expand the series...

hardly read anything this past couple of months , mainly due to loads of stress in my life via work and friendship , so today I decided to read ' the star dwellers ' as I find David's books are my bankers, I've not read a bad one yet and I was saving the rest of this series for a needy day, which is today, his characters ( especially Adele ) I find put me in a place I enjoy and help me help myself to get through those times that are difficult , this I feel is a wonderful skill he has and makes me smile knowing I've got some brighter days ahead engrossed in his visions, thanks David for what I know is going to carry me through tough times ahead.

Right now I am reading Lullaby, the 2nd in the Watersong series by Amanda Hocking. I really like this series so far. Mermaids/sirens are one of my favorite creatures and I'm glad they are getting some attention now :-)
I don't usually post on this thread, because I generally read quickly enough that it's not worth it. But I wanted to say that I finished "Water & Storm Country" last night, and it was just as amazing as all David's other books have been! Also, the sneak peak of "The Earth Dwellers" at the end makes me think that September 5th can't come soon enough!

I've listened to New Moon - Stephenie Meyer today which isn't anything like the film lol. But still love the story.
Finished
and really loved it, but it was a pretty big cliffhanger ending! UGH
Also finished
and I really liked it as well! It was very different and creative, and a good debut for a new author.

Finished
and I really enjoyed it. I rated it 4 stars. I also finished
which was definitely not as good as the first book, Variant. There wasn't much action in the book and the big reveal was boring. Now I'm listening to
in Playaway format and reading
and
all of which I'm really enjoying.

I think I may have to skip Feedback. I think David was, too. Boring is not something I want to read at the moment, lol! Thanks for you input!
