message 3172: by Caedy (new)

Caedy Eries (karida) | 151 comments Currently I am reading:
Under the Dome by Stephen King - long and want to finish it before the mini-series airs later this month.

Looking for Alaska by John Green - Just about done with this one, I like it, though it isn't my favorite that I've read by him (which puts this at #2).

Lord of the Flies by William Golding - Haven't read this since high school, and currently just about done with it. Pretty much read it in a night after finishing Inferno by Dan Brown, which was OMG amazing.

Currently on hold-digitally from the library are:
The Ask and the Answer
The Kill Order
The Divergent Series 2-Book Collection - I've read Divergent, but will re-read it and then read Insurgent.

Just checked out from the library:
The Giver - Finishing what I've got ahead of this one first.
The Magdalene Cipher - Title looked interesting, will see how it goes here in a day or so.

I think the main reason why I like Dessen's books so much is because I read all of them during my middle school years when I was awkward and going through some crazy stuff! Her characters where my first book boyfriends and I didn't feel so alone in the world. I actually didn't care for her last book
What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen but I'm still going to give her new book a chance!

Steph is: Pageturning578 (stephw1991) Everyone is entitled to there opinions about what books they like or don't like. I may not like reading the same books that I read in middle school if I read them today. I used to get offended when it came to things like this but I like to be openminded when I read books and have discussions with others.
