Still taking a break from Gameboard of the Gods (Age of X, #1) by Richelle Mead and started Taking Back Forever (The Kindrily, #2) by Karen Amanda Hooper today. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about Grasping at Eternity, so I'm still a little confused. lol

I'm going to be reading The Book Thief next week for a buddy read with another group, I'm so looking forward to it!

Okay, I am swimming in books right now, lol! Luckily I have a lot of free time at the moment!

Currently reading Unbreakable (Unraveling, #2) by Elizabeth Norris Icons (Icons, #1) by Margaret Stohl Prophecy Girl (Angel Academy, #1) by Cecily White . I will probably try to finish Prophecy Girl tonight, I am hooked! Its angel/demon book, with a prophecy twist. Loving it!

Tomorrow starting Variant (Variant, #1) by Robison Wells with David, and I also need to read Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry to get caught up with him! I also FINALLY got my copy of The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey today, and I really want to read that!

This would probably exhaust a lot of people, but I'm almost giddy I'm so excited! lol Books are definitely my drug!

Its nothing against the story and I love reading about that time period. It was just extremely hard for me to get through because I felt like everything bad happened to the characters all at once. But again it took place during a time when there wasn't a lot of happiness and hope then...

Reading Icons (Icons, #1) by Margaret Stohl in our buddy read and listening to Pure (Pure, #1) by Julianna Baggott . Both are similar genre so I keep mixing them up in my head. Ha!

I finished Icons (Icons, #1) by Margaret Stohl and really liked it, but I didn't love it. It was a good dystopian, just very different.

Finished Prophecy Girl (Angel Academy, #1) by Cecily White and loved it up until the ending--I wasn't thrilled with the ending. I gave it 4 stars

Also finished Unbreakable (Unraveling, #2) by Elizabeth Norris and was blown away by it! It was a really good sequel, 5 star rating! I heard that Elizabeth Norris is not writing any more books for the series, but I really hope she does! I want more Janelle and Ben!

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments Just got The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers, #2) by David Estes and Angel Evolution (The Evolution Trilogy, #1) by David Estes - can't wait to get started on some new series! Also going to re-read Ice Country (The Country Saga, #2) by David Estes since I have time for books in print. All on Kindle for Mac - I really liked Fire Country (The Country Saga, #1) by David Estes so I'm expecting to love everything.

I've read Grave Mercy and listened to The Raven Boys already but would love to own both and listen to Grave Mercy! I downloaded Of Poseidon this morning. I'll check out Enchanted and The False Prince for sure! I rarely listen to music now unless I'm working or in the car. I ALWAYS have a book going and walked an extra mile last night just to keep listening to Pure last night. hahahah... Now THERE'S an incentive to exercise!

Transparent and Reboot had the highest overall ratings. And, frankly, they sound way better to me than the others. I think Transparent sounds really interesting, but I would probably pick Reboot if it was me.

I plan on re-reading The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1) by David Estes and the rest of the series this summer before the last book comes out in September! The Earth Dwellers!

Only 5 more days until the release of Water & Storm Country (The Country Saga, #3) by David Estes . Eek!!

message 3147: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments Since TV is on repeat during this time, I am on a reading binge. I finished up the Gone series, all six of them, loved loved them! Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant
Then went to The Mating (Law of the Lycans, #1) by Nicky Charles and then Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu
The Mating was a fast read, a bit predictable but still couldn't put it down, also a romance which I almost never read, but it was about werewolves and had some intrigue so I want to read more by Nicky Charles. But Legend was AMAZING! I can see it as a movie and the rights have already been purchased in 2011 I think, and it is in progress so I hope that comes to fuition. Now I impatiently await for the second book Prodigy (Legend, #2) by Marie Lu to come available in my local library and that should be in a couple days. I love the way the book is told in the voices of the two main characters, Day and June. Also the third book is ready for pre-order, coming out this fall, Champion. the third in the Divergent series comes out this fall too, and the first movie of it. I am so excited!

Steph is: Pageturning578 (stephw1991) I have so many books to read!

I'm almost done with Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia and I'm really enjoying it!

I haven't decided if I'm going to take a break and read a chick flick or two such as All I Need by Susane Colasanti or Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver or Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

I also have multiple series to read: Beautiful Chaos (Caster Chronicles, # 3) by Kami Garcia or Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant or Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare or City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare

And I aslo have two books that are in at the library: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and [bookcover:Shatter Me|10429045!

Good thing I like to read I'm just not sure what to read next! I want to at least read two of my library books so that I can replace them with the ones that are in at the library! My goal is to pick them up wednesday or Thursday!
