I finished last night, and it was just okay for me. It was a pretty gruesome tale, but at the same time, the author made it kind of light? So it just didn't quite work for me, although I couldn't put it down just to see what would happen! So I gave it 3 stars just for that fact!

Also read which is a short novella that combines the main characters in both Ally Carter's series--The Gallagher Girls and The Heist Society. I have never read the Gallagher Girls, but this little story was very entertaining! It was free on B&N awhile ago when I got it!

Next up is the third and newest book in the Heist Society !

Have you been reading the novellas? They're #s 0.5, 4.5, and 5.5. Not hugely important, but they are referred to in following books. Book 3 is where I really thought it got good! You're so lucky it's completed! I had to wait for the last book.

I just read A Day in the Afterlife of Tod and nearly died laughing. I didn't catch yet, but I'm planning on 3.5 and 4.5. I'll probably catch 0.5 at some point in there.

I love this series. Not the subject matter, but the characters and dialogue. So entertaining and funny.

I actually read 0.5 before anything else, and it was kind of blah. I think I'd recommend reading it before, hmmm, I can't remember which book. lol Either 5 or 6, I think.

Aww thanks! You know what I hate? How GRs consistently fails to send me emails when new posts are added to threads I'm following! That must've happened with your group Heidi, because I definitely follow the What are you reading thread and I haven't received any emails. Annoying! I agree completely. I loved the first half, got a little bored in the middle but then liked the ending. But I LOVED the sequel, the entire thing, one of my favorite sequels ever :)
