Adam and Noah were my favorites in the beginning....by the second book I loved Ronan the best. His story line is awesome in the second book. By the end of third, I think Gansey was my fave. It keeps switching around...can't wait to see what happens in the 4th book!

Its a librarian's recommends to the books she thinks people should read. A few of my favorites are in here, but I actually have not read a lot of these!
She has a downloadable list of all the titles on her website if anyone needs some good read recommends!

I wish i had time for reading. Workload is killing me. The closest I've come to readign is 'listening' to the audiobook at work. Life is hard!
I've finnished King's Folly, plus read Outside the Walls and Dried Eggs and Spam. Now I'm reading Mary Queen of the Scots.
My mom read 30 books. I NEED TO DEFEAT HER. I'LL READ ANYTHING OFF MY SHELF!!(And cause I know this is in her update feed.. Love ya mom~)

Karen: LOL! Never mind. What matters is that you enjoy the books you do read.Bookbuyer: what's your goal for the year?
I plan on reading a lot in easter which is soon. And will probably like always, read like crazy in the summer.
so that will up the number.

250. But I'm bolstering that with manga and novellas. I don't think I could read that much otherwise. >.>
Holy smokes, my goal for the year is only 75 and I already feel like that's a stretch for me, hahaha. :D So impressed that some of you read so much!!

Mine's 216. I read more than that usually, but I always prefer to end up doing more than my goal than falling short. Last year my goal was 200 and I nearly doubled it.
I read books from really short ones (short children's stories, for example) to long ones that are creeping close to the 1000 page mark, and count them all.

I'm usually more middle ground. Around the 350-450 page mark. But this year the other group I'm in has up the amount of books needed for a 'serious' team and I prefer those. So I had to read at least 12 books over a 100 pages. So I ended up reading novellas for the first time in my life. O.o They are quite good but I find it's better to read the series that correspond to the them first. :P
My goal is 170. I read fast, and my ONLY hobby is reading sp its not an issue for me. I can read 2 books one week and 5 the next.
Oda wrote: "My goal is 170. I read fast, and my ONLY hobby is reading sp its not an issue for me. I can read 2 books one week and 5 the next."I have cycles of interest. Some years I read more. Others I study languages and then I usually watch a lot of tv as well. But I'll cycle that as well. :/
Sometimes I even get into arts and crafts or back into my music. :)
My goal is 50 for this year and I feel like that is really a stretch for me, working full-time and all. I'm almost finished with my fifth book for the year.....I'm doing so bad already.
I'm currently reading a book called "Air Awakens" by Elise Kova! It is an awesome read and I'd highly suggest it to YA fantasy fans looking for something original!
Diana wrote: "I'm currently reading a book called "Air Awakens" by Elise Kova! It is an awesome read and I'd highly suggest it to YA fantasy fans looking for something original!"That sounds like a really good one! I hope to read it sometime!
Listening to strings!!!! Good so far! And reading riders... Which has been so hard for me to get into. Has anyone read it yet? I want to love it like under the never sky. But I just haven't yet. It is totally putting me into a slump
@Harlee you are two ahead of me! I will have to catch up lol. If I could just throw my phone in the ocean maybe I would get more reading done ha!
I'm just starting "mark of the black arrow" book one of "Robin Hood: demons bane" has anyone else read it? Is it good?
I finnished Mary Queen of the Scots last night, and am just about to start reading Queen Elizabeth Tudor: Journey to Gloriana.
Oda wrote: "My goal is 170. I read fast, and my ONLY hobby is reading sp its not an issue for me. I can read 2 books one week and 5 the next."I'm the same, Oda. I watch a bit of TV and the odd movie, but nine times out of ten, if I'm not writing, or attempting to keep up with things online, you'll find me reading.

What matters is that you get some pleasure from the reading.
Alison wrote: "Listening to strings!!!! Good so far! And reading riders... Which has been so hard for me to get into. Has anyone read it yet? I want to love it like under the never sky. But I just haven't yet. It..."YAY for listening to and enjoying Strings!
FINISHED
The Perks of Being a Wallflower for a march standalone read and it is great so far. I loved the letter style of the writing. This was one I am happy to have finally read. It seemed a very straight forward look at the entrance into the high school world in the early 1990s. There were many sensitive issues that were touched upon but in a way that flowed with the story. 5 stars for me.STILL READING
Token Huntress for my pen pal read! finishing tonight
One Child: The Story of China's Most Radical Experiment which is very well written at times painful to contemplate.and just started
Red Queen for the March Series read.and
Persuasion for a challenge of a book written before 1900.
