Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Brigid, I've been wanting to read Unwind so much! I ordered it from book outlet, can't wait for it to come!! I've heard great things about it.

A Natural History of Dragons (Memoir by Lady Trent, #1) by Marie Brennan A Natural History of Dragons which started out delightfully well and unfortunately slowed WAAAY down. I loved the parts of the story with action, but it was almost painful to get to those points, I felt like the drab events in between just drug on for far too long. The drawings were superb, but I actually struggled to finish this one, and can't award it more than 3 stars.

Still reading. The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje The English Patient with the group read, which has finally shown us Katharine, but is still interesting in the jumping around of point of views.

also reading Awoken (The Lucidites, #1) by Sarah Noffke Awoken as a group read (You can still join in: Awoken Buddy Read and we even have author Sarah Noffke available in the discussion area with us) which is very intriguing. I love this concept of the Lucidites, picking up nicely and shrouded in mystery.

I had to forfeit The Saint (The Original Sinners White Years, #1) by Tiffany Reisz The Saint as my Buddy Pick for Me read when I realized it was book 4 in the series and it did not read well as a stand alone, this has since been replaced with Token Huntress by Kia Carrington-Russell Token Huntress which is exciting!

Last night I started The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Praag The House at the End of Hope Street which I picked up as a "blind date" with a library book

I really need to finish the Unwind series, I've only read the first book!

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments @Donna - Yay! Can't wait to hear what you think of it. I haven't finished the series, but the first book is one of my favorites! :D

@Jenny - Same! I read the second book a while ago, but I don't remember much about it for some reason. And I never got around to reading books 3 and 4, but I've heard they're amazing. I just checked book 2 out of the library so I can re-read it right after I re-read the first one. :)

Seriously! I feel like I remember the first book better than the second book, which is kind of strange because I read it like ... 8 years ago. And I only read the second one like 4 years ago I think. There's a lot of really haunting scenes in it!

Hope Street is AMAZING so far. I am loving everything about the house, I want to live in it forever. I love all of the past authors and brilliant women from the past. I'm about 1/4 done maybe a bit more and it is a gem that I can't believe I've never heard of before

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Still sticking it out with Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas and also reading Neverland (Adventures in Neverland #1) by Anna Katmore which I'm almost done with and loving!!!

I'm really looking forward to getting my book outlet order after hearing from so many of you that Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman is awesome!!!!

The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Praag The House at the End of Hope Street which I picked up as a "blind date" with a library book. It was spectacular. I loved the house, I loved (and hated) the characters. The implication of the house and all that came with it. The renewal of strength within the women who have walked in and out of the house. A quick and easy read. There was a great following of the characters. I highly recommend, awarded 5 stars for me.

Still reading. The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje The English Patient with the group read, I will be finishing this one up tonight

Also reading Token Huntress by Kia Carrington-Russell Token Huntress for my pen pal read! Great intro.

Today I am starting The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby The Diving Bell and the Butterfly as it is one of those books I had never gotten around to reading.

I finished my reread of Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer and loved it even more the second time!

Also finished November 9 by Colleen Hoover 4 stars.
While the book started out great for me, and I thought it was a really interesting premise, with awesome characters (I loved both Ben and Fallon) the second half of the book turned into typical NA drama. I didn't see the big twist, but that whole thing really bugged me. I did enjoy the read, but wish I was able to fall in a puddle of happy tears at the end!

Next I'm staring Biggest Flirts (Superlatives, #1) by Jennifer Echols one of my PIFM books!

Alexander is the back-burner book for the moment, because it's so long, and The Help is likely going on the back burner shelf because I doubt I'll be finishing it by Monday, which is when I'm starting Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews

Starting soon: Stars Above by Marissa Meyer The Demon King (Seven Realms, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima The Immortals (Olympus Bound) by Jordanna Max Brodsky Wolf By Wolf (Wolf By Wolf, #1) by Ryan Graudin
