I just started listening to Glass Sword on Audio, which is a first for me. I'm also still reading A Darker Shade of Magic, which is great so far!

I just finished Soulless by Gail Carriger. It was so good. I have never read anything like it! If this is steampunk, then I have found another genre to explore.

Gahhhh!! I got my signed copy this week but work is killing me and I don't want to start until I have a couple of uninterrupted days to read it!!!!

tHat was my first steampunk series as well. I heard someone say its not typical steampunk but still a fantastic series.

Finished
Geisha, a Life which I was intrigued by due to my fascination with geishas and the fact that this was Mineko Iwasaki's response to Arthur Golden's Memoirs of a Geisha and is VASTLY different in the background information of the two stories. This book was really good and VERY different from memoirs of a Geisha. It actually makes me wonder how he got that story from the same woman haha. I give it a solid 4 stars.Still reading.
The English Patient with the group read, which is starting to pick up and develop the characters a lot more at about the 1/3 point.Just started
Awoken on my Kindle and
The Saint as my Buddy Pick for Me read.Last night I also started
A Natural History of Dragons which I have been wanting to read for a few years, and I must say that the intro is delightfully written! Enjoyable to read thus far :)
I just finished the Institute series which I highly recommend. It is dystopian with female heroine and great male characters too.
and
and
I'm about to start re-reading Clockwork Princess!!! I cannot move on with my life until I finish this trilogy.

I'm doing the exact same thing, Michelle! But my 14 hour work days this month are leaving me little to no time to read. :( Hopefully I'll have some ME time tomorrow afternoon and Sunday.

Started with me wanting to finally see the pilot(yes GASP a die hard gg fan but never seen the whole pilot) strange pilot so different from the other episodes. Taylor doesent appear before ep 6, and in the same episode there is a mayor called Hary Porter(almost harry potter so strange)-

. Me Before You is really good but I know it's gonna break my heart (no spoilers please). Excited to start The Bronze Horseman as I've wanted to read it forever!

Looks interesting. One of the reviews I read said that it's a rough copy with lots of typographical errors. Eeek. I'm ok with that in a beta-read but not in an ARC or finished product. By that point, it should be mostly edited and most typos fixed. Is it still rough?

The author says it is a clean copy and I am early in but so far seems to be so. It also has a good story concept.

Oh whew!!! It does sound good. There's a giveaway which I entered. :)

Yeah, I would recommend. It seems sort of sci-fi with dystopia too, and a female heroine puts it right in my wheelhouse. Some romance along the way too I predict from 10% in. I will return with review when completed.

That I could do and be super efficient at. I have to make myself put my book down in order to get something else done.

Oh wow, amazing, thank you SO MUCH!!!

I am finally about to finish the 5th and last book in this series:
Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this series. It is like a SciFi dystopian version of Game of Thrones. Flawed, complex, interesting characters, incredible worldbuilding, and a cool, unpredictable plotline. Overall, an awesome read. The first book was a lot to take in, and I wasn't sure, but after the second book I was completely hooked!

I told myself I wasn't going to start another book because I have started and left unfinished a frightening amount of books in the past six months but
became available on my online library and I couldn't resist. It is one of my most anticipated books of this year and so far it hasn't disappointed.
I finished
4.5 stars. This was an amazing fantasy! I didn't love it quite as much as Throne of Glass, but I did love it! The characters were great, with a rich, detailed world, and some great twists throughout!
