Glad to hear you loved Winter too!

Irene (raenne) My 'currently reading' list is long. Very long. Are you ready? Okay, here goes:

Odinsbarn (Ravneringene #1) by Siri Pettersen - Recommended to me by Oda. It's not my native language, so it's taking me quite a while to read.
Lover Revealed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #4) by J.R. Ward - I'm reading this one on my phone when I can't sleep or when I've forgotten to take my other books with me
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins - Audiobook, listening whenever I'm coloring, running or showering
Skriveterapi by Annette Aggerbeck - Non-fiction. It translates into Writing Therapy.
Geminiderne (Spektrum, #2) by Nanna Foss - Book two in a Danish YA Sci-Fi series. This is my main book.

@Victoria - Yes! Winter was absolutely fantastic. :D

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I am reading The Institute The Institute (The Institute, #1) by Kayla Howarth and I am listening to a podcast called Sword and Scale on my morning runs. It is sooo interesting, about real murders that happened with recordings from the murderers. Yes, I know, it is dark. I like dark. Sometimes.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins was so good. Can't wait for the movie?
Are you from Denmark? We had two exchange students stay with us who were Danish a few years ago. Sweetest girls ever.

message 16412: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) Donna, that sounds so interesting! :)

Teresa, Yes I am :)

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Right now I'm reading Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater and Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas which I am unhappy with so far. I'm not liking any of the characters so far, Sarah Maas is disappointing me :( I hope it gets better. I'm about 20% in.

Donna, I've heard such mixed things about Queen of Shadows, but David said he's loving it, so I'm holding out hope!!

message 16415: by Teresa (new)

Teresa I really enjoyed Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) by Sarah J. Maas . It was a step down from the previous book for me but still really good.
Donna, what are you not liking about it?

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) The characters. They've all changed so much, and not in a good way. I just don't like any of them anymore. I'm feeling like I don't care what happens to any of them anymore. I'm hoping things change for the better.

I sort of get what you're saying, Donna, all the characters are pretty rough and nasty, particularly in the beginning. But they DO get better, like A LOT better, so hang in there. I found it a little depressing early on but then you feel more hope and light in the darkness as the plot develops.

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Oh, David, THANK YOU for that!! That is sooo good to hear and will keep me going!!! :) It is depressing right now.

Now I am reading The Book of Ivy (The Book of Ivy, #1) by Amy Engel and Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger . I read about them here and decided to give them a try.

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments I'm currently reading Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and so far it's pretty good but due to its sad nature I'm also reading a second book , which is Shatter Me, which I'm getting close to finishing!

I finished my reread of Bone Gap by Laura Ruby , loved it!! It was so fun to read after I knew the answers to all the mysteries, and caught all the little clues the author left that I missed the first time.

Also finished my audio (finally) of Earth & Sky (Earth & Sky, #1) by Megan Crewe This was a pretty good story, although a bit lacking in the world building part.

I am LOVING A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas its AMAZING so far!

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Jenny, I LOVED A Court of Thorns and Roses!!! I hope you enjoy it too!!! I can't wait for A Court of Mist and Fury!!!
