Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments I started The Jewel tonight by Amy Ewing! It's my PIFM book for December, 30 pages in and it's really good so far!

I'm also reading Jackaby, another PIFM for December, which I haven't decided what my opinion on it is. I'm not loving it but not hating it....it's just not my typical read at all.

Rebecca McCray (RebPai) | 195 comments Sorry I've been a little out of touch. Craziness on the personal side (moving houses / cities). I just finished a novel I think some of you would enjoy. Cloak of Shadows (Netherwalker #1) by C.K. Dawn The story highlights two female protagonists and their battle against these demons that come into our world. Well-written fantasy.

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) I have been reading Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater as I mentioned before. But I picked up Slip (Slip, #1) by David Estes yesterday, it's been on my to read list and I was curious and thought I'd just read a few pages to see what it's like. Well I'm now 60% in and IT IS SOOO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!! I've always enjoyed David Estes books, but HOLY COW he's outdone himself!!! I've already bought Grip (Slip, #2) by David Estes and Flip (Slip, #3) by David Estes !!!! I'm so excited about this series!!!!

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 1130 comments I think since the Lunar Chronicles are officially done I'll pick it back up again at some point this year. I wanna give it another shot just... I didn't want to be going nuts from waiting for all the books.

As for what I'm reading: Black Widow Forever Red (Black Widow, #1) by Margaret Stohl Say what you will about the authors other books she did her research on this one. THIS is the Natasha Romanoff I know from the films.

I'm at 70% and staying up really really late listening to this. I think I'll switch to the print because I'm at the point where I want to know what's going to happen next and audio takes too long. ;)

I finished my audio of Sea of Stars (Kricket, #2) by Amy A. Bartol and I LOVED it! Great audio!

Also finished The Jane Austen Marriage Manual by Kim Izzo and it was okay. Classic silly chick lit, but I wasn't really into it until the end.

I'm about halfway through The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #3) by Michelle Hodkin and its REALLY creepy and intense! Its in full out thriller mode now!

I was thinking of reading Opal (Lux, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout next, but I just don't know. I'm in the mood to read, but having trouble picking a book!

I'll also be starting Wildflower by Drew Barrymore soon, my first nonfiction book of the year!

Dumplin' (Dumplin', #1) by Julie Murphy

I thought it was okay, but I wasn't a big fan of it. I think it was too long and had kinda mixed messages.

And now I've read about 100 pages of:

172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad

It has a cool premise! The pacing is a little slow so far, but I've heard it gets more exciting.
