I just finished Dean Koontz's new book, Ashley Bell, which was a really crazy and twisty read :) Now I'm reading Lair of Dreams, Libba Bray's sequel to The Diviners!

Had to return Lair of Dreams back to the library because I realized it's one of those books I have to buy and take my time with. But I'll pick it back up after Christmas when I buy it. Picked up four new books from the library and started reading One Step Too Far by Tina Seskis, which isn't YA but it sounded interesting. And then I think I'll give Illuminae a try after.

Oh no! Mine is a library book too and I was worried I wouldn't have time to finish it considering it's over 600 pages...BUT I am flying through it LOL. Already 36% in and I love it even more than the first book. This is Libba Bray at her best :)

Yeah so One Step Too Far didn't work out for me either. I got annoyed by the main character. Reading Illuminae now. I honestly wasn't sure I'd like it because of the way it's written but it's actually interesting and promise to read it all the way through!

I finished and while it wasn't my fave of the series, it still had lots of action and the spunky humor I love from this author. I was also very happy with the ending. Solid 4 star read!

I bought Jackaby from the Book Outlet during the Black Friday sale, Rose! I'll read it for my J book in the A-Z challenge next year! And YES, I'm already planning my books for that challenge! ;)
