@Jenny; I was so disappointed when Keary Taylor changed the name of the book to The Bane. And those covers, ick. But one of my favourite trilogies.
Oh I don't mind the covers Skylee! Mine are signed, I met Keary last year! She is amazing in person!
Yeah the titles could be better though!

OMG I'm like 20 pages from finishing Shadow & Bone and gah!!!!! I freaking love this book so much!! I think this will be my favorite series to date! Will definitely be picking up Siege and Storm when I'm done!!!
Awesome Rose! I do have the whole trilogy, you're welcome to borrow mine :)
And Logan is reading Shadow & Bone right now too, LOL ;)

Awesome :)
Awesome :)
Other than Six of Crows, I am also reading Chinese Cinderella because my master teacher's freshman class is reading it.
As soon as I finally finish
which is a HUGE book and is giving me sore arms and muscles, I'll be diving into
and
, both of which I'm really excited to read!!

Finally, I managed to finish Big Girl, by Danielle Steel. The topic is great, but I did not know that she wasn't a particularly great writer. I have never read her books before. Does anyone know what her other books are like?

I've read a ton of Danielle Steele. My favorite is the one from the Titanic (can't remember the name) I also really loved
She's not the best writer, I agree. I just love her stories! They are great when I'm looking for something quick, but want to go through the emotional wringer. Most of them will make you cry!

Almost done with
and I like it far better than the first book. Still have a few problems with it but it's good nonetheless. Also switched
from audiobook to ebook. I can't stand the narrators, they're doing it all wrong! (because of course I am the expert and should be running a small country - lol!) Also reading an ARC which shall not be named (coughDAVID'scough) and a couple of print books that I'm going really slow on -

Oh no! I'm worried that might happen to me after reading it too.

@Skylee - that happened to me too! I had to read something totally different because nothing seemed good enough after QoS. Drink Slay Love by Sarah Beth Durst did it for me. It's a bit of a comedy so it was different enough to get me back on track. I hope you find something to shake off the slump!!!

It's worth it though, sosososososo worth it! It's probably my second favourite book of the series so far.

I've had a harder time focusing on books where you really need to focus on the details and characters lately like
and
(which I just started Tuesday). So I picked up
yesterday and I can already tell I'm going to have a much easier time focusing on this one.

I hear you about the focusing thing, Heather. I always grab whatever I happen to be rereading at the time for those moments.... Harry Potter for me right now. :)

I liked the movie more by double.
Finished
4 stars
A western! I haven't read one of these in awhile! This was a true western, with lots of shootings, poker games, riding around on horses, and spitting. Loved it! Fun read.
Also finished
and
both 5 stars, LOVE that series!

I'm about a third of the way through it, and I LOVE it so far! I'm liking it even better then These Broken Stars!

Wow, I'm kind of surprised none of you like that one––it's one of my faves! :D I like the movie a lot too, but I still like the book more. I don't know, something about it just really hit home for me, but I see how it's not for everyone.

Glad you liked Vengeance Road, Jenny! It was also a 4-star for me, but leaning more towards 3.5 stars. Definitely a fun book. :)

I've read it twice and don't regret it, just not a favorite. It would teeter between 3 and 4 stars for me, probably falling back down to a 3.
The movie I just absolutely loved for some reason.
So, for me, it isn't dislike book/like movie, it's like book/love movie :)
