Oh no, I'll read the sequels. I read a series to its end unless I gave the book a two-star or lower rating, and there are a couple of two-star series that I finish just for the heck of it. Cinder was very entertaining; I wasn't disappointed.

Finished: Lincoln How Abraham Lincoln Ended Slavery in America A Companion Book for Young Readers to the Steven Spielberg Film by Harold Holzer (5 stars)

Now reading: Fever (The Chemical Garden, #2) by Lauren DeStefano

Same here. I'm not one for all the romantic mushy gushy type of thing, lol.
I blame my English teacher :p Currently deciding whether to plunge ahead, finish it ASAP and then take the quizzes so I don't have to worry but then my brain would be dead with boredom. I hate required reading... Dx

The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater was on sale today on my nook. I checked kindle and it was $2.99 there too. Not sure if that's the normal price or a deal. I bought it even though I've listened to it on audio already. Now I want to experience the read!

Jenia (storyteller_86) | 70 comments Escapement (The Neumarian Chronicles) by Ciara Knight Got ARC from the author, it amazing so far. If you into Dystopian books, would recomend it.

YAY! Well, I do love a little romance. But I like other factors too. Like action ^_^ Apparently I don't like books that are entirely focused on relationships. The only one I found better was Breathing Underwater. Maybe it's the boyfriend's POV and not the girl gushing all over the place T_T
But that's just my humble opinion.

Bethany | 171 comments I like discussing books too! For example...I just finished Unravel Me and I seriously want to kill someone. Preferably, Juliette. And I can't really rave about why without majorly spoiling the book. Let's just say, I was not real happy with the turn of events.

I'm almost 3/4 of the way through Days of Blood and Starlight and it is so amazing and it just keeps getting better and better.

I liked things about it, but I had a really hard time with the MC. She was just...so annoying.

On the flip side, I finished Days of Blood and Starlight and SQUEEEEEEEE!!! So flippin amazing! Just incredible. That woman can write like nobody's business. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Now I'm getting into Fire Country (Country Saga, #1) by David Estes and I am really enjoying it so far. It grabbed me right away and I can already tell that David's writing and storybuilding just gets better and stronger with each novel. I'm proud of you, man!

I Finished Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer and I loved it! It was so good! It was awesome how Meyer weaved the two fairy tales of Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood together!

Also read Catherine by April Lindner which is a modern day Wurthering Heights rewrite. It was also very good! An intense, quick read!

message 1549: by Heidi (last edited Feb 19, 2013 03:09PM) (new)

Heidi | 2372 comments I was not in love with Lovely Bones. I liked it to a point but thought it was too long and meandered too much. I skipped the movie because I did not hear good things.

message 1550: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (Hannah, Fully) (hannahfully) I heard about the movie, but didn't hear much reviews about it. I've heard that the book version of The Lovely Bones is pretty scary, so I'm not sure, lol.
