Brigid ✩ | 738 comments FINALLY finished:

Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) by Rachel Hartman

It took me like two weeks––but actually, I really liked it! It is a little slow-paced and I think some of it could've been cut. Some things about it were also a little confusing to me, although it made more sense as it went along. But anyway, I liked the writing, I liked the characters and I actually liked the romance a lot (which is something pretty rare for me, haha). So yeah, it was good! :)

Now I am starting:

Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman

For my buddy read with Jenny!!! :D

I finished The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) by Rick Riordan 4 stars. This was not my fave Rick Riordan, but I still loved the book! It was a nice switch up to learn more about Norse Mythology, something a little different. I really liked the MC, Magnus, and his band of weirdo followers. The story wasn't as action packed as Percy Jackson, and didn't read quite as quick, but still a good read.

Caitlin (caitlinsiem) | 409 comments Just finished Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Holy crap was that a great read. I absolutely loved it. So much so that I've decided to give the Grisha Trilogy another go. (Long story, bad blood with Shadow and Bone. But I'm eager to put that behind me after almost 3 years)

Now I'm getting ready to start Wake of Vultures by Lila Bowen (aka Delilah S Dawson). I actually went down to Georgia for the release party of this book so I'm super stoked to read it.

I finished Parallel by Lauren Miller and although I really enjoyed the story, I was disappointed in the ending.

Right now reading The Girl with the Windup Heart (Steampunk Chronicles, #4) by Kady Cross but I'm having trouble getting into it. I love these characters, so I don't know why.

Brigid ✩ | 738 comments Yessss I love Lunar Chronicles so much! And I agree with Tommy––they just get better and better. I think I gave the first book 4 stars, but books two and three were both 5 stars for me! Can't wait for the fourth one. :)

message 15374: by Michelle (new)

Michelle I have only heard good things about the Lunar Chronicles so I'm excited keep going through the series. I have been careful about spoilers. ;)

Last night I finished The Girl with the Windup Heart (Steampunk Chronicles, #4) by Kady Cross Pretty much right after I posted, I started reading and magically got into it, and finished it pretty quickly! I guess I just needed to complain first LOL!

Also finished my nonfiction read I was reading, Atlas of Cursed Places A Travel Guide to Dangerous and Frightful Destinations by Olivier Le Carrer I LOVED this book! Some pretty creepy stories and places around the world! And I have a thing for maps :)

I'm hoping to finish my reread of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4) by J.K. Rowling today, and I'm starting Rebel Mechanics (Rebel Mechanics, #1) by Shanna Swendson

I counted mine the other day...133 series!!! WHAT??? There are some that haven't all released yet, though...but that's ridiculous!! No wonder I have to keep rereading all my books when the last book of a series comes out and I want to finish it! Its amazing I can remember anything!

One of my big goals next year is to finish up some of those series!
