I'm still reading All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven which I'm enjoying.

Unfortunately I've decided to DNF The Diviners (The Diviners, #1) by Libba Bray for now. I'm just not feeling it right now. :(

I finished my audio of Time's Divide (The Chronos Files, #3) by Rysa Walker and loved it!!

I started a reread by audio of Red Rising (Red Rising Trilogy, #1) by Pierce Brown and still trying to decide if I like the narration or not. I loved it in print.

I think I'll read Walk on Earth a Stranger (The Gold Seer, #1) by Rae Carson next and also continue my Harry Potter reread with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter, #5) by J.K. Rowling . :)

Recently finished Firelight (Firelight, #1) by Sophie Jordan Invisible (The Twixt, #2) by Dawn Metcalf The World of Little House by Carolyn Strom Collins Spellcaster (Spellcaster, #1) by Claudia Gray and The Appearance of Annie van Sinderen by Katherine Howe

I REALLY liked The Appearance of Annie van Sinderen. Also the World of Little House :)

Now I'm rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4) by J.K. Rowling and started Parallel by Lauren Miller

I took a break from Going Bovine by Libba Bray , having trouble connecting with it at all, and the hook isn't going in a direction that's keeping me interested.

So instead I'm opting for a couple of quick-read Koontz novellas in preparation for his new book, Ashley Bell.

Last Light (Novella) (Kindle Single) by Dean Koontz - finished! An interesting suspenseful read that was especially cool because of the Hawaii references!

Final Hour (Short Story) (Kindle Single) by Dean Koontz - just started it!

That's too bad...I have not read Going Bovine yet, but it is on my TBR. As as is all her other books!

But..DEAN KOONTZ!! Hard to go wrong with a Dean Koontz read :) Have you read The City yet? I really really loved that one! Its very different from most of his other books, which made me love it all the more.

I have Ashley Bell as an eARC. I think I'll read that next after my current read. I should also read the novellas first though. ;)

message 15316: by Aasha (new)

Aasha Ramlal | 77 comments Still reading Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3) by Leigh Bardugo it's going amazing but for some reason it's taking me forever to get through. Might be because I'm so tied up with studying and exams right now. Just picked up The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium, #2) by Stieg Larsson and whoa. I forgot how intense this series can be. That being said, it's going really good so far and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Yep. Actually, a large chunk of what I read during October was along the same sort of theme. I still have the rest of the Cirque Du Freak books to read, so part of this month will be too.
