@David - Yes, it was mostly the romance stuff that really bothered me. But also (view spoiler). So it was mostly those two things that I didn't like. But I also just didn't feel very connected to any of the characters.

Me too, it almost seems like his books are getting a little formulaic. Step out of your comfort zone Rick. ;)

Hi Alison! *waves*
I'm still reading
but I'm not really enjoying it as a spooky October read, so I think I'm going to start
. :)
Almost finished with
and I'm loving it even more the second time! Love all the banter between Sybil Trelawney and Minvera I missed the first time around!Next up I will be starting
, which will be a first time read for me! I'm also reading
!
Still reading the same books mostly. Found out I was totally right when reading Slip and I am interested to read more. Also can't wait to read Six of Crows next month of the BotM.
I read...Never The Twain by Rosemary J. Peel
Little Miss Stoneybrook... and Dawn (The Baby-Sitters Club, #15) by Ann M. Martin
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving
Now I'm reading the Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan. I've already finnished the first book, and am about a third of the way through the second.

Finished
The Indestructibles last night and it was one of the best books I have read in awhile! Just started
Lost in Montreal this morning
I just picked up
narrated by Wil Wheaton and it is fantastic. Also reading
on my iPad, also great so far. Kind of a departure from all the romance I've been reading -
Almost finished with
really good so far, honestly didn't want to put it down to go to sleep last night but you know had to be a responsible adult...it's so overrated sometimes!
