Be advised that the last book is quite different than the first three. MUCH darker, but felt like the right thing--the only thing--that could happen considering the previous books.

Considering the darkness that started creeping in during the second book and even more darkness in the third book, I'm excited and scared to see where the next one goes! I'll definitely be reading it next, I think!

Some days I read more than one book a day... Especially when I'm reading some of the shorter books queued up on my Kindle waiting for their turn to be read.

According to a reading log I keep on another group, I read 74 books in August. Though a large number of those were short children's books. Not all of them were though... Several were over 300 pages, and a couple were over 500 pages (American Gods, for example, which I read in something like a day and a half, due to going through a non-sleep phase).

It's how come I managed to complete every word in the July/August reading challenge, and why I completed my reading goal for this year a few weeks ago.

Finished Paper Towns by John Green I'm not really sure what to rate this one...I think I'll settle on a 3.5. I didn't like this one nearly as much as Will Grayson, The Fault in Our Stars, or Looking for Alaska. Honestly, this one was pretty depressing. I did love about the last third of it. The road trip was the best part, and made the book worth reading. I also loved the whole concept of "paper towns" and I'm a sucker for maps :)

The show is really good, you should check it out sometime. It's a short one-season mini-series. And yes, the book is also really good so far and follows the show closely :)

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments I've finnished reading Wyvern and Super Sporty Short Stories: Signed, Anonymous. Now I'm reading The Scorpio Races.

I would have also started re-reading the Harry Potter books as part of Rose's readathon thing, but my Harry Potter books are among the ones still in boxes from moving earlier this year, and getting them out feels like too much work right now.

Besides, I really should be focussing on reading some of the books I've had waiting on my Kindle for ages.
