Finished Sabriel! It was pretty good, although I might be satisfied with just reading the first book in the series. Also finished Half Way Home, it was as awesome as the first time *runs off to start working on fan-fiction short story*

Now I'm reading Rebel Wing (Rebel Wing #1) by Tracy Banghart by our very own Tracy Banghart! It's off to a good start, really well written and with a cool dystopian world :) It is rather heavy on the romance so far though, but I think I can push through :P

Finished Rook by Sharon Cameron 4.5 stars

LOVED this story! A very unique concept. It felt like a story from a few hundred years ago, but it was actually thousands of years in the future. The world building was incredible, as well as the plot and all the twists. And I LOVED the characters. This is one for history buffs, dystopian lovers, fantasy junkies...the works!

I loved that book when I was young but some ladies in another Goodreads group were saying how much they disliked reading it as an adult and how sexist it is so now I wonder if I should re-read it as an adult???

I read it as an adult.

I can see why some would call it sexist, but it isn't intentionally sexist, it's just true to how the times were when it was written. Many people don't like it, but that's the way things were, and though it seems sexist by today's standards, it wasn't intended to be, and isn't by the standards of its day.

I'm about 60 pages in and so far it's much like the movie which I love. And Victoria is right. Back then, the times were very sexist.

I'm enjoying Little Women much more than I thought I would. I have a hard time with classics but trying to read more of them. :)

Yep... I've now wread all the Nikki Powergloves books.

They were really great, but I'm kind of sad that it's over.

On the other hand, it leaves David free to work on something new and exciting for us all to enjoy, which is a good thing!

I finished Mosquitoland by David Arnold and I really enjoyed this one...except the ending kind of ALMOST had this amazing twist, but the author yanked it away at the last minute..it would have been MIND BLOWING...but it was still a good book, and I enjoyed it.

Now rereading Demon Evolution (The Evolution Trilogy, #2) by David Estes and almost done! Loving it!

Caitlin (caitlinsiem) | 409 comments So, I just finished the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray. It was good. I enjoyed it. The last book was a little longer than I thought necessary but that's how it goes sometimes.

Now starting A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I want to get this one in before Queen of Shadows releases next week. Mostly it's to tide me over because I love Maas' work.

Currenlty reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #1) by Ransom Riggs and listening to the audiobook for Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee which is actually going pretty good considering all the controversial and negative reviews.
