Jenny....I read Minnow Bly in less than 6 hours...LOL. I really enjoyed it but it left me with a few questions as well...so I have mixed feelings. Im excited about First Frost...but I didn't realize it was #2 in the series....do I need to read Garden Spells (book #1) to understand the story ?

You won't need to, but you'll enjoy it much better if you have the back story on the sisters and the one little girl. :)

I don't get to put a huge dent in it, but tonight I plan on atleast putting in a few hundred pages, if not finishing it. I am loving the book, and love the characters! Just wish I could get through it faster

Had to set Heir of Fire aside because it was moving a bit slow for my taste, so I'm going to wait until it comes out in paperback in September and buy it to take my time. Currently I'm working on Dragonfly in Amber again, but my request has been filled at the library for the BotM A Court of Thorns and Roses so I'll be starting that soon.

It's intriguing so far- I'm only 81 pages in, and not hooked yet, but it has promise.

Loved Heir of Fire. I guess it did get slow in some parts but I skimmed through those sections to get to the good stuff. If you found Heir of Fire slow, unfortunately A Court of Thorns and Roses you'll probably find even slower.

I'm actually finding it rather interesting. I think the problem with Heir of Fire was that I started reading it after Crown of Midnight, which was so good, and I usually try to read something different in between books from series'.

I'm on but Kay borrowed my Nook to read so I reread which was on my Glowlight Nook. I can't download my new books onto it with the WiFi down here. :( I'm now rereading and will get back to Solitary soon.

@Zainab It is a bit confusing at first and I'm not a huge fan of how it feels like it's in third person but I really enjoyed it! The characters really make the story for me :)
