What are you reading right now?
@zainab I have the same problem. Usually when I read a really good book and I'm in the hangover stage I try to read something completely different. Makes it easier not to downgrade a book because my expectations are high.

Reading miss peregrines peculiar children... It started kinda slow but it's picking up a little towards the middle... Some far fetched stuff going on. But kinda creepy still..

I'm REALLY enjoying it! Just finished
and now onto the third book in the series
. This series is dark/creepy but very entertaining. I also have the 4th and 5th books from the library so I'll read them next :) They're short, quick reads, so I think it's worth trying the first one to see if you like it.

I thought this book was okayyy, but it didn't grab my attention enough to continue with the series. Let us know what you think of the ending!

and I LOVED this fantasy! 4.5 stars. Really wonderful fantasy! I fell in love with Echo and all the other supporting characters, and loved the journey and action in this one from start to end! It reminded me a lot of Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

I LOVED this fantasy about trolls and witches! Very unique story, and I don't think I've quite fallen in love with "the bad guy" quite so quickly LOL!

Def don't hate you LOL! But I did like DoS&B more. I LOVED that series! The characters and some of the basic plot was what made me think of it, but the writing was very different. But I did love the writing in Girl of Midnight.

I just finished An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir and holy crap, that was freakin fantastic!!! It may be my favorite 2015 debut. It may end up being in my top favorite books period. Everything was done so well. Truly a spectacular read. I highly highly recommend. Starting Servants of the Storm by Delilah Dawson next. She's on panel at a writing conference I'm going to next weekend so I'm really excited to jump into her world.
which is good so far. I just finished listening to Flesh and Bone
and was first frustrated with the girl going back and forth to the guy and then utterly confused when the twists started arriving.

I also started
. It's a debut novel by an Indie author I had the pleasure of speaking with on the phone (as he was considering signing with my literary agent and was looking for a reference). So far it's really good!

Okay, so The Girl at Midnight was not what I was expecting. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't like it. So now I'm going to start Heir of Fire since I know that will be good for sure.
OMG Catherine. Heir of Fire was soooo good. You'll have a major book hangover after that one. Luckily I think the next book comes out in a few months
@Teresa yeah I looked it up. It comes out September 1st. Thank the lord cause idk if i could wait too long.
XD Before I start The Raven Boys and pick back up the 5th Wave. Some quick and kind of nostalgic reads.

I honestly haven't read it(but should). My only experience is the first season, which I loved, and the game that I was shockingly great at haha.

You should check out the manga if you get a chance. It's a really great story. I liked the first manga series best along with the Millennium World series. Season 0 is my preferred one.
And that's awesome about the game. XD I started playing it again online, used to go to the local cardshop to play it a few years back.
