I'm almost done with Talon and oh my gosh I freaking love this book so much! I love the characters Ember, Garrett and Riley! I have already picked up and started The Raven Boys! I put An Ember In The Ashes back on my shelf, just wasn't in the mood for it and will pick it back up later....such a mood reader I am!

I'm currently reading
which is a poetry book. I'm still reading
and
After I finnished the Percy Jackson books, I read...
Now I'm reading the sequel to "Firebird" which is called "Dream Catcher"
Re-listening to
, actually I'm marathoning the first and second books because the third just came out on audio and I wanted the story to be fresh in my mind. But since I'm FLYING TO FLIPPING ALASKA on Friday, I'm taking
with me and continuing on with that series while I'm there. On my iPad I have
plus a whole slew of other romances, so I'll probably keep going with those on the trip. I'll definitely have enough time! : )
finishing
today100 pages into
, need to read more tonightalso enjoying a leisurely reread of
. after this I think I'll leave the series alone for a year or two.

@Storm I was lucky enough to get the second and third ones at the same time. XD I've only read the first two in TDM series, I think I'm getting the third one soon though!
XD I went out and bought the other two books in TDM but they've been sitting on my shelf for months. I wanna finish it before getting deeper into other series. I looked for the Isle of Blood and Final Descent while I was getting Wendigo but no luck that day.
I think I'm going to wait a little bit before I get into Isle of Blood. I love the series but they take SO long for me to read lol

I liked More Than This, but I read it before The Chaos Walking Trilogy, so nothing to compare it to!

I had the same problem David. I didn't fall in love with More Than This like I expected.
Don't get me wrong, I LIKED More Than This, but after my obsession with Chaos Walking, my expectations were enormous :)
I'm now reading
, so far it's a really easy read that's holding my attention :)
And Karen McQuestion is a REALLY nice author/person. When I was first starting out, she was one of the few successful Indies that responded to me when I asked for advice.

David, I gotta ask... How did you come out of Undivded with no reading slump? OAO I couldn't read for days!
I am currently tackling
because I keep forgetting that I have it, and I want to watch the movie but I want to read the book first (masochistic I know!). Next on my list are the following:
,
,
.I need to get my hands on
...probably when I get another Amazon gift card (around Christmas or so...probably). I also am missing a book in The Country Saga too...I must fix this. As well as Slip and Salem's Revenge...How am I missing these books? Seriously?!
Gahhhhh, if you haven't read Talon by Julie Kagawa you should!!! I have about 80 pages left and it is amazing!
Rose (littlebookowl75) wrote: "Gahhhhh, if you haven't read Talon by Julie Kagawa you should!!! I have about 80 pages left and it is amazing!"!!! I'm behind on reading her stuff too...Seriously...have I been living in a bubble?! -crawls in a hole and whimpers-
@Heidi I really enjoyed it! I have the third one but I think I'm gonna read a few other books before starting it. :)

I'm sure! I probably would have felt the same way if I'd read Chaos Walking first!

David wrote: "Don't get me wrong, I LIKED More Than This, but after my obsession with Chaos Walking, my expectations were enormous :)"I hope my experience is different from this haha. I have More Than This in my room right now. Checked it out from the library based entirely on the name Patrick Ness being on the cover. Didn't even bother looking at what it was about haha.
I just finished
I liked it, but didn't love it. There were more pros than cons though and I did become invested in the characters so I'll for sure read the sequel.Up next I'm gonna read the first book in a series I've meant to read for years

Yay Caedy on David's books! I'm listening to them all on audio as they release. I've tried to pre-order
at least 3 times now forgetting that I already did that. Just a few more days until it lands in my Audible app!!

I don't have my own audible account, so I can't just willy-nilly spend the credits there. But, my roommate's daughter (12) is willing to allow me to spend a credit occasionally...I just haven't decided what I want.

LOL! I sort of just pushed through it. I forced myself to finish a book that I wasn't really connecting with, and then started the next book which is a real page-turner/easy read. Next I plan to read Golden Son, which I know I will love, so hopefully no slump for me!

Aww thanks so much! Hope you enjoy the reads! You might want to grab The Earth Dwellers now while it's only $0.99 for another couple days as part of the Kindle Big Deal for June. After the 26th (I think), they put the price back up to $4.99. I appreciate all your support!
