Everyone seems to love The Girl Who....., but I didn't. I gave up on it :/ The writing style did nothing for me. I hope you'll end up liking it :)

I'm currently reading Blå nætter by Cecilie Sund Kristensen which is a poetry book. I'm still reading Twisted (Pretty Little Liars, #9) by Sara Shepard and It by Stephen King

Annihilation (Star Wars The Old Republic, #4) by Drew Karpyshyn

White Witch, Black Curse (The Hollows, #7) by Kim Harrison

Now I'm reading the sequel to "Firebird" which is called "Dream Catcher"

message 13560: by Jen (new)

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments Re-listening to The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter , actually I'm marathoning the first and second books because the third just came out on audio and I wanted the story to be fresh in my mind.
But since I'm FLYING TO FLIPPING ALASKA on Friday, I'm taking The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers, #2) by David Estes with me and continuing on with that series while I'm there. On my iPad I have Flirting with Disaster (Jackson Girl's Night Out, #2) by Victoria Dahl plus a whole slew of other romances, so I'll probably keep going with those on the trip. I'll definitely have enough time! : )

message 13561: by Harlee (new)

Harlee | 1583 comments I finished The Curse of the Wendigo (The Monstrumologist, #2) by Rick Yancey last night. THE HORROR WAS INSANE! Now I'm jumping back into UnDivided (Unwind, #4) by Neal Shusterman .

message 13562: by Ashley Marie (last edited Jun 23, 2015 06:40AM) (new)

Ashley Marie finishing Lirael (Abhorsen, #2) by Garth Nix today

100 pages into The Lost Symbol (Robert Langdon, #3) by Dan Brown , need to read more tonight

also enjoying a leisurely reread of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7) by J.K. Rowling .
after this I think I'll leave the series alone for a year or two.

I have to finish that book soon. XD; I'm trying to finish The Darkest Minds trilogy first though. The Monstrumologist books are hard to find in my area so the hunt would be on as soon as I finished Wendigo.

message 13564: by Harlee (new)

Harlee | 1583 comments @Storm I was lucky enough to get the second and third ones at the same time. XD I've only read the first two in TDM series, I think I'm getting the third one soon though!

message 13565: by Storm (new)

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 1130 comments XD I went out and bought the other two books in TDM but they've been sitting on my shelf for months. I wanna finish it before getting deeper into other series. I looked for the Isle of Blood and Final Descent while I was getting Wendigo but no luck that day.

Caedy Eries (karida) | 151 comments I am currently tackling Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia because I keep forgetting that I have it, and I want to watch the movie but I want to read the book first (masochistic I know!). Next on my list are the following: The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers, #1) by David Estes , The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers, #2) by David Estes , The Sun Dwellers (The Dwellers, #3) by David Estes .

I need to get my hands on The Earth Dwellers (The Dwellers, #4) by David Estes ...probably when I get another Amazon gift card (around Christmas or so...probably). I also am missing a book in The Country Saga too...I must fix this. As well as Slip and Salem's Revenge...How am I missing these books? Seriously?!

I hope my experience is different from this haha. I have More Than This in my room right now. Checked it out from the library based entirely on the name Patrick Ness being on the cover. Didn't even bother looking at what it was about haha.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 957 comments I just finished Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake I liked it, but didn't love it. There were more pros than cons though and I did become invested in the characters so I'll for sure read the sequel.

Up next I'm gonna read the first book in a series I've meant to read for years Midnight for Charlie Bone (The Children of the Red King, #1) by Jenny Nimmo

Yay Caedy on David's books! I'm listening to them all on audio as they release. I've tried to pre-order The Sun Dwellers (The Dwellers, #3) by David Estes at least 3 times now forgetting that I already did that. Just a few more days until it lands in my Audible app!!

Nice! I don't have my own audible account, so I can't just willy-nilly spend the credits there. But, my roommate's daughter (12) is willing to allow me to spend a credit occasionally...I just haven't decided what I want.

LOL! I sort of just pushed through it. I forced myself to finish a book that I wasn't really connecting with, and then started the next book which is a real page-turner/easy read. Next I plan to read Golden Son, which I know I will love, so hopefully no slump for me!

Aww thanks so much! Hope you enjoy the reads! You might want to grab The Earth Dwellers now while it's only $0.99 for another couple days as part of the Kindle Big Deal for June. After the 26th (I think), they put the price back up to $4.99. I appreciate all your support!
