Well, that's just gonna kick me out of every single contest that I already entered with my Goodreads name in it, lol. :p

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I am reading Pandora's Key (The Key Trilogy, #1) by Nancy Richardson Fischer and it started out okay but I just don't think this is in my wheelhouse. The magic stuff is just not believable to me. It is well written but not my thing, sorry, Nancy.
So now I am reading The End - Visions of Apocalypse by N.E. White which is short stories by various authors. I may or may not stick with it. Looking for THE book to capture me after finishing Fire Country (Country Saga, #1) by David Estes which was so good.

So just when Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #2) by Laini Taylor was getting good, after 2 months of waiting, the library had World Without End (The Pillars of the Earth, #2) by Ken Follett for me. And Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer should be on my Nook in the morning. I only have 2 weeks before World poofs off off of my Nook and it's over 1,200 pages! What to do, what to do!? Hehee... I'll just have to stay up late tomorrow night ( all night) to read Scarlet. There's no way I'll be able to wait on Scarlet.

message 1305: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (Hannah, Fully) (hannahfully) I have about 300+ books waiting to be read on my Kindle App, lol. And it's growing every few days o-o

Eek! Scarlet first, should be a quick read ;) Then you'll have to dedicate every spare moment to World! Don't worry, you'll still have time to finish DoBaS in time to post on the group read. (And it will give me time to catch up!)

I will see if Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, # 1) by Kami Garcia is Lendable via Kindle and if so, I will let you borrow it :)

I've also got Tollesbury Time Forever by Stuart Ayris on my kindle to read (somepoint) let me know how it is.

Currently I'm reading XVI (XVI, #1) by Julia Karr as it is one of the last that I have to finish and return to the library. Have a couple more that will show up in a day or so, but beyond that...I will finish those quickly. Then, will revert to my Kindle stuff :D

Do you have a library you can get it from. I was not a fan so I would borrow it if you can. You may love it.

Do you use Overdrive? It appears Overdrive owns the rights to the Kindle version so even if your libraries Overdrive catalog doesn't have it you can request it. I have done that several times and my library almost always adds my requests. http://search.overdrive.com/ti/c15b4a...

What "mood" are you in, Dnicole? Fantasy, dystopian, apocalyptic, sci-fi, paranormal? I get in different moods! Never thought I'd read a zombie book until I read Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry . Couldn't put it down.

message 1335: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I have many zombie books read and to read. Can't find the right one. Have many YA to read, tried and fled. Have many many Mysteries, maybe time to do that. What I really want is more episodes of The Dwellers Saga. David, I hope you are writing.
I just can't keep reading when something rings false. So many do.

Dnicole, what do you like to see in the zombie books you read? Sounds like you're quite a fan of them.

message 1340: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (Hannah, Fully) (hannahfully) I've watched the movie, but I might have to watch it again to compare it, lol. I think the movie's more fantastic than the book.
But blame that on me being dragged to the movie theater, lol. :p (I broke the Books before Movies Rule... o-o)

message 1341: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 171 comments I sat down and read all of Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer today. And ohmygoodness!!! It was freaking amazing!I LOVED it! It was just as good as Cinder. I can't bring myself to say that it was better, although I think a lot of people will say so. But either way, who cares. It was great. The characters additions were wonderful. It was nice having old and new faces. All you Cinder fans are gonna love it!

I've started Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi as well, but I'm not too far in yet. Super excited to get into it though :)
