I started Bone Gap by Laura Ruby for a buddy read..and I am LOVING this book so far! OMGosh!! It reminds me a LOT of a Maggie Stiefvater book. I'll let you know how it finishes, but so far, I'm thinking Karen, Jen, and David you would LOVE this!

Also reading The Inventor's Secret (The Inventor's Secret, #1) by Andrea Cremer and so far its good, very fun :) Its kind of an interesting dystopian/steampunk book: the premise is that the American Revolution failed, the British won, and they've inflicted a sort of "dystopia" onto the US, and divided up a lot of land to give to the Spanish and French. At the same time, there's all the steampunk tech, like airships, floating cities, robots, and other gadgets. Fun!

Has anyone read it?

message 12919: by Belkis (new)

Belkis (bminaya) | 133 comments I finished The Replaced (The Taking, #2) by Kimberly Derting which sort of dragged for more than halfway but then took off and ended up on a great note. Then I finished Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett Clarity (Clarity, #1) by Loretta Lost which were both pretty good. Now reading Prodigal (The Lost Imperials, #2) by Tyler Jolley and Second Chance Pass (Virgin River, #5) by Robyn Carr and enjoying both so far.

I loved this trilogy too Alison and yes, it sneaks up on you slowly and it's so worth the read. The whole The Girl of Fire and Thorns Complete Collection The Girl of Fire and Thorns, The Shadow Cats, The Crown of Embers, The Shattered Mountain, The King's Guard, The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson trilogy is great.
