AGirlAmongstBooks (Jess Green) (agirlamongstbooks) I started Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick yesterday and it is really good. I think it needs to be required reading for high school kids!!

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 957 comments Finished Nightmares! (Nightmares!, #1) by Jason Segel it wasn't a brilliant book, but solid all the way through and a very strong ending. I'll be checking out book 2 for sure.

Up next, The Monstrumologist (The Monstrumologist, #1) by Rick Yancey

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I am reading a nice long involving series that is more mystery and character development and a polygamist religious cult than anything. It is on Kindle Unlimited and also comes with Audible listening. The Righteous (Righteous, #1) by Michael Wallace i am on the second in the series Mighty and Strong (Righteous, #2) by Michael Wallace

message 12855: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie Yeah I'm totally sucked into the story at this point. The imagery is fantastic, and the people Alex is encountering are very interesting too-- he just left Elroy and his wife's house last night (Edna, I think?).

@Tommy I'm looking forward to reading Monstrumologist in a few months, I hope you like it!

W.J. Lennox | 100 comments I'm reading The Dream Thieves and The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones

Loved The Raven Boys. I'm only a few chapters into The Dream Thieves and already hooked :)

Reading the History of Westeros, which gives a fascinating insight into the rich and varied cultures of the world of Westeros as well as a better understanding of character back stories. There's so much information, I've found it better to read it in bite-sized chunks.

Slightly off topic, but did anyone see this week's episode of GOT. I can't believe they killed off Barristan Selmy. He was old school & one of the last remaining good guys. And the jury's out as to whether Greyworm's still alive. This series has deviated so much from the books, I've no way of knowing when to hide behind my cushion to avoid the gruesome bits!

Colleen (cleowulf) The Dracula Tape by Fred Saberhagen
The Dracula Tape
Finally a novel that lets you hear Dracula's side of what really happened when the man pack came after him with his love Mina Harker. This time Van Helsing is the Villian! Yes. :) Takes place decades down the road to clear his name, the rest you'll have to read for yourself..cause I'm still enjoying this book.
Another good author to follow and check out his other books to a T.

W.J. Lennox | 100 comments Ashley - know what you mean, it is a bit on the pricey side. I was lucky & hubby bought it for my birthday. Maybe you could drop some big hints to family members.

There's quite a weight to it too, not that I was thinking of using it as a blunt weapon, but it's always good to be prepared ;)

Yeah when I saw it on Amazon I was like "oooooh coffee table book". Hm. I've already told my dad I want the full set of Locke & Key graphic novels for my bday in September and they're a bit more pricey than this, so I'll probably wind up snagging it myself in the next few months ;)
