Now I am reading Oryx and Crake and I am 50% in and I am not sure how I feel about it yet.

Irene (raenne) @Belkis - I'm so glad to hear that. I haven't had the urge to pick up the book, because my copy is...well, I don't like the cover: Stjålet by Lucy Christopher

@Jenny - Yeah, I'm not very far into it, but it's really funny so far, although I have to admit I'm also a little confused :)

Finished both my beta reads and sent my notes off to the writers! YES!! (They were both incredibly good by the way, but that's all I'm allowed to say )

Also finished Game (Jasper Dent, #2) by Barry Lyga and it was SO GOOD, but what a cliffhanger!! I'll have to the read the last book very soon!

Still reading The Body Electric by Beth Revis and although I'm not super into it yet, I'm hopeful for it! Since it is by Beth Revis, and she wowed me with Shades of Earth!

Also going to be starting Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater --YAY!!!

I just finished an amazing beta read! :)

I'm also reading The Body Electric by Beth Revis and The Virgin Elizabeth A Novel by Robin Maxwell , neither of which are really grabbing me.

So I started American Gods by Neil Gaiman which IS grabbing me!

Oh, and for audio, I'm listening to Flesh and Bone (Benny Imura, #3) by Jonathan Maberry .

I'm thinking more than likely I'll pick Monstrumologist at the end of April. I'll probably have some other things to finish up after that, so probably mid/late May for B.I.? MAYBE earlier, but this sounds about right, more than likely.
If you guys wanted to start earlier, I wouldn't be mad haha.

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments Silverfall: Stories of the Seven Sisters was excellent! It was a recommendation from my hubby, actually; one of the few books he enjoyed enough to remember it years later (mostly he forgets the details of books almost immediately, unless he absolutely loved the book).

I'm now reading Zombie Moon Rising and have the sequel Ghost Moon Rising ready to read when I'm done.

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments I just finished Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger (audio) - which was delightful, then screamed through If We Survive by Andrew Klavan (audio) which was intense. Now starting The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber on audio.
Finishing up The Body Electric by Beth Revis and reviewing a beta read as ebooks. Still don't have my iPad back from repair yet - hopefully tomorrow!

Catherine - I'm starting Storm Siren (Storm Siren, #1) by Mary Weber as an ebook as soon as the iPad returns. I tried it on audio but the narrator was horrible.

Gina I just bought The Water Wars for my e-reader as well as Ashes, Ashes. I can't wait to read them both.

I'm currently reading Little (Grrl) Lost and loving it. It's the first time I've read anything by Charles de Lint and any "urban fantasy". I have to say I'm hooked.

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments I ended up reading both Zombie Moon Rising and Ghost Moon Rising yesterday. They were pretty good, but I wish I'd known it mattered if they were read at the right places alongside their sister series, because - having not read the other series - I missed out on a lot of pieces of the story. I knew they were from the same world and added more to the story, but I'd assumed (having nothing to tell me otherwise) that they'd be like the Dwellers and Country Saga's and you could read either series first. In fact, if anything, the synopsis for "Zombie Moon Rising" (the only one of the two that really made reference to the events of the main series) made me think they came before the events in the main series. So, since I thought they came first, plus there were two books in this one, and there are at least six in the other, I read these first; I should have done It the other way around. Anyway, I've got at least most of the sister series, so I'll read that soon, and then things will be clearer; in theory.

I decided to read a bunch of short books today, so I read The Withering Palace, Old Jack's Tale, Emily Ray and Her Really Awesome Day!, Sam and the Fly, and Psycho Psyche. They were all good reads, though "Old Jack's Tale" had an unsatisfying ending, since the tale wasn't really resolved (or even explained away, which would have been an acceptable ending).

I'm about to start reading Ever Dead now.
