I read this one. It's basically Leavanna's story. It was interesting seeing how she came to be the way she is.

Yeah it's pretty good. I'm about halfway through and while I like the book, I hate the narrator's character. My sister promises he'll redeem himself by the end though.

message 11822: by Michelle (new)

Michelle @Kami I have had that problem when someone loves/likes a book and no matter how hard I try, I can't get into it. I have heard mixed reviews about this book so I shall see.

I'd love to hear your thoughts too, I've picked it up at the library a few times, but then got distracted by another book that was shinier :)

message 11825: by Michelle (new)

Michelle @David Shiny books are very distracting! I bought this book when it first came out and it took almost a year for me to pick it up and start it.

Just finished my PIFM book Swan Song by Robert McCammon . OMG, where has it been all of my life and why didn't I know anything about it??? Very reminiscent of The Stand by Stephen King . I started it thinking it would be one of those books I could read while being sick and wouldn't have to pay as much attention to the details. Well did I ever get sucked in! Great book!

Finished Take Me On (Pushing the Limits, #4) by Katie McGarry and overall I liked it. I love Katie McGarry's books, but I think this one was me least favorite. Still a 4 star read though.

Next is The Originals by Cat Patrick

It is very different from the other books - even darker if you can believe it. It is not the ending I wanted but to be honest there really was no way for that story to end to make everyone happy so I appreciated that and liked it over all.

This was a "meh" one for me. It was a really quick read if I remember correctly, and I didn't love it, but it was good enough, know what I mean? My opinion also might have been swayed by the whole solo book thing, since I almost exclusively read series.
