LOVED This book! A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini is really good too! Still need to read his new one.

I am SO GLAD you're enjoying it, I really thought you would. It's a pretty special book. His second book is also REALLY good. The third one was okay, but not nearly as good as the first two.

Yeah, I agree completely. Keep your expectations a little lower for the third one, I personally didn't find it nearly as good as the first two (because my expectations were really high), but still an interesting read.

Finished reading The Bane Chronicles (The Bane Chronicles) by Cassandra Clare and I LOVED these! Anyone who is a fan of this series will want to read them, they are so funny! And it was awesome getting to know Magnus a LOT better!

I seriously couldn't stop reading it on Sunday! I had planned to take Molly to the park but couldn't find a stopping point. Really powerful! I ended up staying in my jammies all day lost in this book!! :)

Had some driving time today so got a chance to listen to a chunk of Dust and Decay (Benny Imura, #2) by Jonathan Maberry . And I plan to dig into a few chapters before sleep of A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird, #1) by Claudia Gray , one of our group reads! I haven't really started a new print book after finishing The Kite Runner yesterday.

Ah, that's too bad, that Elemental book sounds really cool. I'll probably check it out at some point and hope my go at it is much different from yours haha.

Splintered is really good, I enjoyed it :) I mainly loved the MC and the twists and turns on her family line. Could have done without the romance, but it was okay. *shrugs*

The narrator of Gone Girl will be narrating The Moon Dwellers (she'll be Adele in all four Dwellers books)!! Let me know what you think of her in Gone Girl :)

Kimberly | 35 comments I just finished the first book in a trilogy called"The Name of the Star" The Name of the Star (Shades of London, #1) by Maureen Johnson which was a 5 star read, it rocked. I think my NIGHT read however will be the 2nd book in that series The Madness Underneath (Shades of London, #2) by Maureen Johnson as I must know whats gonna happen. I suppose Ill be ordering the 3rd book, since I cant get it on paperbackswap website and its called, The Shadow Cabinet (Shades of London, #3) by Maureen Johnson My day read will be a book that I won here on Goodreads The Darkening Sky by Hugh Greene and I look forward to this one as its setting is also in Britain along with a great mystery.

shades of London is a great series, but its not a trilogy. there will be 5 books out in total. so two more.just fyi :P
