The first half is more entertaining than anything, but the second half has some parts that may make you cry.

Actually recently (view spoiler) so it did hit me in the personal feels. It's just hard for books to get me to cry. Plus, I was recommended the book because I loved a comic called I Kill Giants, which had a very similar theme, so I was super prepared for it. I've also written a short piece with a similar theme(my first ever published piece(holla)).
If not for how prepared I was, it probably would have destroyed me haha. I Kill Giants did.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is one of my favorites books/series. I have read it three times. If you have the chance to listen to the audio, give it a try. It is amazing! My vote is Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments I finished reading Bleak House, which I liked but didn't love.

Then I read Charm: An Amazing Story of a Little Black Cat, which is a very touching story.

I'm reading The Last Orphans now.

Heather (hersecretsmile) | 290 comments I just finished Yes Please by Amy Poehler. I ended up switching over from hard copy to audio book about a third of the way through and I really loved the audio book. The hard cover was great as well, but I enjoyed listening to Amy narrate way more.

I just started listening to I Am Malala The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai a couple hours ago and started All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr a few days ago. I may have to throw a lighter read in there as well.

I'm not sure about this cover though...
