Finished reading Grim by Christine Johnson and enjoyed it! The Beauty and the Beast retelling ( Beauty and the Chad) by Sarah Rees Brennan was LOL funny! The Brothers Piggett (The Three Little Pigs) by Julie Kagawa was really good, very creepy at the end. So was Better by Shaun David Hutchinson. Those were my favorite stories in this one!

Still reading Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas and its SO GOOD!! Also reading Burn (Salem's Revenge, #3) by David Estes this weekend.

It doesn't for me either Samantha. If I watch the movie I won't read the book. That's why I haven't read much by Stephen King.

The White Princess (The Cousins' War, #5) by Philippa Gregory was the second book that I read. And it was right after watching the series on TV which ends abruptly with The White Queen's ending. I had to know what happened next so saw it at the book store and did an impulse buy.

I found the next one The Kingmaker's Daughter (The Cousins' War #4) by Philippa Gregory for a $1 at the library's shop. :) But then the addiction took over. I started ordering from my book store after that. And even got the nice hardback of the Kingmaker's Daughter.

But, once I finished all 5, the publisher contacted me out of the blue on Goodreads and asked if I wanted an ARC of The King's Curse (The Cousins' War, #6) by Philippa Gregory several months before it released. What!? I was so happy when I got it! I bought the hardback when that one released to complete my collection.

But, yea, Victoria. I understand about having to wait, as I did at the beginning. I was behaved back then. ;) And then I went nuts!

It is much nicer than the description in my review where I equated the book to a bad smell you just have to share with others.

Doing it. I officially pledged Clockwork Prince but I got sucked into City of Bones instead. My mom's reading The Hound of the Baskervilles.

I'm ready for the feels this time haha. Someone told me I'd love it because I loved I Kill Giants by Joe Kelly , which is one of the most heart wrenching stories I've read in any medium. I'm roughly 50 pages in and can already see the similarities.

(BTW everyone, read I Kill Giants. It's beautiful whether you're a comics fan or not.)

That's so cool about getting an ARC copy like that!

I'm already crazy, but circumstances out of my control have stolen my book buying money for the time being, so crazy or not I have to wait. Anyway, you'll know when I have book buying money again, because the only thing I want more than the Cousins' War books right now is Burn, so they'll be the first things I buy when I can spend money again, and will be read ahead of all the other books on my to-read shelf!

I actually really enjoyed this book, surprisingly! Liked the sequel even better! The movie was just so-so though.

I never did get the big deal about the guy, I thought he was kinda wishy-washy at best. But the two best friends characters were written really well! And Ethan is my fave character in both books :) I would love a book with Ethan's POV at some point!
