XD;; Why is it when the Book of the Month on another group I'm in, is always a book I either A: Am on an extended waiting list for or OR one I can't afford!(Bane Chronicles if anyone's curious)

It does stink when that happens Storm.

was the second book that I read. And it was right after watching the series on TV which ends abruptly with The White Queen's ending. I had to know what happened next so saw it at the book store and did an impulse buy.
I found the next one
for a $1 at the library's shop. :) But then the addiction took over. I started ordering from my book store after that. And even got the nice hardback of the Kingmaker's Daughter.
But, once I finished all 5, the publisher contacted me out of the blue on Goodreads and asked if I wanted an ARC of
several months before it released. What!? I was so happy when I got it! I bought the hardback when that one released to complete my collection.
But, yea, Victoria. I understand about having to wait, as I did at the beginning. I was behaved back then. ;) And then I went nuts!

I'm ready for the feels this time haha. Someone told me I'd love it because I loved
, which is one of the most heart wrenching stories I've read in any medium. I'm roughly 50 pages in and can already see the similarities.(BTW everyone, read I Kill Giants. It's beautiful whether you're a comics fan or not.)

I'm already crazy, but circumstances out of my control have stolen my book buying money for the time being, so crazy or not I have to wait. Anyway, you'll know when I have book buying money again, because the only thing I want more than the Cousins' War books right now is Burn, so they'll be the first things I buy when I can spend money again, and will be read ahead of all the other books on my to-read shelf!

Lol, just wait till you reach the later books.... he gets so much better as the series progresses.
Simon's story arc is my favorite in that series :) I also really like Alec's and Isabelle's, too.
I finished reading The Great Ghost Rescue yesterday, started reading Astro's Adventures Dogs In Space yesterday and finished it today, and am reading Bleak House now.

I actually really enjoyed this book, surprisingly! Liked the sequel even better! The movie was just so-so though.
I never did get the big deal about the guy, I thought he was kinda wishy-washy at best. But the two best friends characters were written really well! And Ethan is my fave character in both books :) I would love a book with Ethan's POV at some point!

I won it here on goodreads, the cover is gorgeous as is the author. I am one of those people that a book cover will suck me in regardless of its story. Ive often thought Id love to have a thing that goes on the wall, allowing you to put your fav books in it showing the covers, displayed for all to see.

I've read both of her series, but the Anita Blake is def my favourite of the two. :)
The first three are the most straight "horror" after that it starts to get a bit risque. :P
