Wow! Some really great input. All relevant and different. I really want to try the Book Thief, but after Joy Luck Club need something with more of the fantasy aspect. I'll read them all for sure. You guys have convinced me that they're all worth listening to. Well all but Panic. I was hesitant about that one and haven't hear any feedback on that one.

Panic was good, if you're looking for a fast, fly-through kind of book. A lot of action, and the concept is pretty cool - like the hunger games but you're playing for money (sixty-seven grand I think) and it takes place in a modern day setting. Entertaining, quick, fun and kind of intense in some parts :)

I hear you on wanting something different for your next read! I usually try to mix it up too. I try to read light if I've been reading dark or heavy and visa versa.

Same. I'm on a waiting list to hold it. Just hoping my hold syncs with my next visit because the library is a bit out of the way.

Weekend reading:

Finished (finally!) and really enjoyed it! This is a fun little series :)

Also just finished and while I did love most of the story and the quirkiness of it, I really didn't like the ending much.

Almost done with My favorite stories in it are by Rainbow Rowell, Stephanie Perkins, Gayle Forman, Myra McEntire and Kiersten White. This is such a fun read!

Also started and I really like Jackaby as a character.

I finished reading and really loved it! 6 stories were 5 stars, 4 were 4 stars, and 2 were 3 stars. The ones by Kelly Link and David Levithan I just didn't connect with. But overall, this was a fun anthology!

Also finished and I LOVED this story! Its described as a cross between Dr. Who and Sherlock Holmes, and I think that's a good description! It has a nice blend of kooky adventure with chilling mystery, and AMAZING characters! And lots of fun LOL moments too! Its one of my fave this year!
