Just started reading Dare You To by Katie McGarry and Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie. Loving them both. Think I like Beth's story a little better than Echo's too!
Finished The Monstrumologist. It was absolutely fantastic. Going to get the rest of the series soon!!
Cindee wrote: "im still reading and loving the false prince....soooooo good. I keep thinking that Sage will confess he is the real Prince and fool them all. has anyone read the whole trilogy...are all the books..."I have read all of them Cindee and they are all fantastic!
David wrote: "Finished The Monstrumologist. It was absolutely fantastic. Going to get the rest of the series soon!!"Yay! So you would agree NOT to judge the author by The Fifth Wave alone??
Brooke Gone Girl is like a crazy roller coaster ride and If I Stay is more of a introspective ride with some twists and turns so it depends on how crazy you want your read/ride to be!

Looking forward to your review! I've read the book and thought it was like an episode of The Walking Dead. Haha!

im so suprised at how many people loved Gone Girl. I read it in another group and all of us thought it was just all over the place. it would get you hooked then be slow, then hooked, then slow....then what the??? with the ending.....ack too much, we were all so shocked they made a movie of it. I guess thats how they get made more people love it then hate it.
Cindee wrote: "im so suprised at how many people loved Gone Girl. I read it in another group and all of us thought it was just all over the place. it would get you hooked then be slow, then hooked, then slow......"I had mixed feelings about the book, but somehow I think it would make a great movie.

I promise his storyline gets better. By book six everything turns out perfectly (I know, I know, that's a lot of pages to get through). If it makes you feel any better, his character doesn't change, even though he has.
I'm reading
which I really love so far. It's told in a nonlinear way which is basically my favorite novel form.

ABSOLUTELY. And I hate to put down The 5th Wave because I know a lot of people love it and it got great reviews. For me I think it was just overhyped and I was expecting one thing and got another. If I had read it under different circumstances I might have liked it more. It was definitely well-written.

Please tell me nothing bad happens to Simon or Alec or Jace or Clary or Mangus or Izzy or Maia or Jordan or Luke rlor Jocelyn cause I've read the first five but still haven't read CoHF. I've been reading so many books with terribly sad endings with main characters dying that anything happened to any of the I think I will stop reading books all together

Thank you! :D
I just adore Jamie McGuire right after Beautiful Disaster.

Oh good, because if Simon changes, I frankly don't know how I'd keep reading.
Cindee wrote: "im so suprised at how many people loved Gone Girl. I also did not hate it (well at times I did). I am VERY ambivalent about that book and a year after reading it still don't really know how I feel about it.
I read my own review because I read it actually two years ago, I just remember I wasnt a fan. Anyway in my review I sounded like you Heidi, one minute I liked it and the next I didnt liked it. my biggest complaint was that the author seemed to have so many ideas in the end and decided to use all of them instead of picking just one. and then the end ends like it did and your like....no way I just got suckered into that for that long to end like that lol. books we love and hate at the same time lol.
I am doing a beta read for the sequel to
. So far it's REALLY good, most impressed with how much this author has improved!

If you read my review you can see my ambivalence - in fact I compared it to smelling something really funky and wanting someone else to smell it too.
Speaking of Gone Girl - I am nearly done with We Were Liars
and I am getting that same feeling I did with GG. I really could care two sh**s about any of these characters and am kind of hoping they all die in the end! (view spoiler)
I have to say, David, that I too was disappointed in the Fifth Wave. I liked it okay but it just wasn't what I expected or hoped. The writer is good though, I agree, well written and I would read a second book.
