@David, the Monstrumologist is one of my favorites! I highly recommend you choose the audio edition which has excellent narration.

YAY, I'm glad :) I liked Crewel, and thought it so original. Gennifer told us at UtopYA that she got the idea from a painting...I wish I could remember which one now!

I started
today.I'm not a fantasy fan, so I'm going into this with low expectations.
I'm intrigued (83 pages in), but right now I'm just in the explanation stage, so it's a bit boring.

Crewel made my head hurt in parts, David, but overall I thought it was completely original and refreshing. I really liked it! And Gennifer Albin was so amazing to listen to and to meet in person!! She was the keynote speaker at UtopYA. I was fangirling big time! I think we all were, right Jenny and Jen?!

Yay Karen! I so hope you love it too. Be warned that it is a dark creepy book but I loved the entire series (the final book was hard to read but a fitting ending IMO). So excited that others are reading The Monstrumologist! It felt like Brigid and I were on our only little island with our love for that book :) Jenny can you get it via ILL??
Lauren I just started We Were Liars on audiobook. Also listening to Return to Me
as I loved her other book North of Beautiful (I mean I seriously loved it).

Nope tried that, they do not have it AT ALL :(
When I search for a book in my library's catalog, it also pulls up any that I can get from other libraries, ebook, audios, etc. Nada. Nothing.

. My first venture with urban fantasy.Halfway through. I like most of the characters (save Clary) but there's no action yet- just a lot of info dumping.
No I haven't read that yet. I'll read it sometime, though. And I'll definitely be doing a review for this, so I'll post a link when I'm done!
