My Percy Jackson books are like that too, but seeing how worn they are reminds me that I love them so much lol
Also, yay! Just noticed everyone else saying Angelfall is the BoTM. I've already read it, but I'd love to reread it with the group :) I really liked it so maybe rereading it will push me to get the next one lol
Yay, Harlee! I'm rereading
on audio (slowly) and will finish up when we read it together as August's BotM.

And if everyone wants to continue, maybe we can read
as a buddy read after.

Yeah sure!
It will be September before I'll be able to get to it though...
I don't have it yet either. I was rearranging book buys but if you don't have it yet too, I'll put off buying it haha
I've just started
. It's pretty interesting so far at 15% in - it's recommended for fans of Fringe and that was one of my favorite shows. It's available to read here through Goodreads! :)

.....BRILLIANT!!! Wow, that ending. just wow. Loved it. Now I'm back to Innocence by Dean Koontz and then I'm not sure.

I'm nearly done and I feel like it's so much of the messages and beliefs that Koontz holds dear all rolled up into one book. It's poignant and touching and sad and heartwarming, all at the same time!

is the one and only Dean Koontz book I've ever read. It was strange and different. I wasn't sure I liked it at first but the ending pulled everything together for me and I wound up really enjoying it and finding it beautiful. Any other Koontz books you guys recommend?

My favorite is Restless but I also love the Odd Thomas series and the Frankenstein series.

I've loved Dean Koontz since forever and a day and I have MOST of his books going back to when he had no hair on his head. His books are always dark but always always filled with hope in some way.

Just started
based on my gf's insistence that it gets "really interesting".There's 2 POV characters. So far one is quite annoying and uninteresting and the other is pretty cool and quite interesting. I'll for sure finish it, whether I like it or not, we'll see.
Yeah, Koontz is different, strange and unique. I think that's why he and King get compared all the time. Not to take anything away from king but I find Koontz much more intriguing.
Thanks Tracy and Tommy. I read the book descriptions of a few of Koontz's other books and I felt sort of on the fence whether I'd like them or not so it's always nice to get some recommendations.

I'm really enjoying the ARC of

So far I'm not loving or hating the first book, but I'm barely just under halfway through.
