Karen wrote: "Cindee wrote: "Ive been seeing this book

YAY! So excited...it reminds me of the chaos series a little, so in depth and you just dont want to miss a thing. also, its long lol very long, but very good!
Karen wrote: "Hahahaha, Tommy! :)"I jest :]
This series does sound interesting, though. I marked it as want to read but am a bit hesitant towards horror books in general, ESPECIALLY zombies. If anyone could sell me on it beyond those two aspects, I would be very appreciative.
Tommy, I never read or watched ANYthing with zombies! I then read this book and it completely got me hooked. The books are not really about zombies as much as the characters, the world and their story. It actually makes the zombies less horrific and more "human".
I still don't like horrific zombie stories but really loved this series!

Currently reading
!!65% through and really liking it!!! Not as much as Percy Jackson yet, because I still haven't been able to connect to the new characters, but I think that will come with time. I didn't REALLY start loving PJ until the third book.
I think Jason's going to make or break the book. I like his personality so far, but I haven't been able to get a crystal clear image of what he looks like in my head. I'm trying to make him look too perfect. lol All it says in the book is close-cropped blond hair and sky blue eyes. That could mean anything. Hopefully I can decide on what he looks like soon and tell my brain to remember. lol
@Daniel, I didn't really get into HoO immediately, but it definitely gets better as it goes along. I don't know if I like that or pj more, they're both awesome. I hope you finish in time for Blood of Olympus!

What's crazy is I actually really love horror/zombies on screen, but they rarely work for me in print. I loved Warm Bodies, but that might have been mostly for the novelty of it.
This one does look like it's worth checking out, though.

I finished reading
and I really loved it! Super creepy book with a good mystery amid the horrors of WWI and the Spanish Flu epidemic in 1918. Also filled with photographs of the era. Just a BEAUITFUL creepy book!

!!!MIND BLOWN BY THE ENDING!!!
OMFG!!!
GAH! When I am able to make sense of my incoherent thoughts, I'll put together a review.
and
.I don't normally read more than one at a time, but my mood keep changing.
I didn't really like Tithe the first time I tried reading it, because I didn't know how I felt about it being about faeries. However, since I finished Paranormalcy, it has left me in the mood for "dark faeries," so I'm enjoying it much more now that I'm in the mood for it.
Alternatively, since I finished The Last Song I've also been in the mood for some YA sadness and If I Stay happened to arrive early in the mail.
Jenny wrote: "I know, right, Daniel? That blew my mind too! The next book is even better!"Percy had better f***ing remember Annabeth or else I will hunt him down and torture him until he does. lol
I was never a Zombie fan. But I watched World War Z....tried to read the book, first pagr bored me to tears till I didnt know what I was reading anymore.....but the movie was good. Then I read Red Hill, which I thought was awesome....and I was like hmmm maybe I like Zombies lol....but its not the Zombies so much I like, but the stories behind the horror, how people survive and cope....from the cover I thought Rot and Ruin was going to be all Zombies, killing, blood ect...just from the cover, but its nothing like that. what do they say, never judge a book by its cover....ooops, my bad! lol
Here's my review of
!!!MAJOR SPOILERS.
Hope you guys like the review, because I poured my heart into it. lol

. It's really good. I'm not into zombie books either but that one was good. It's not what I would call overtly zombie but I still think it falls into that category. Very well written too.

I can't wait for this one!
The Impossible Knife of Memory is SO GOOD! I rated it 5 stars :) Laurie Halse Anderson is brilliant with bleak subject matter!

Now you're going to have me wondering why he forgot her. I've only read the first three in the Percy Jackson series. Not that I'm too bothered about spoilers for this book.
I'm reading
and
. Couldn't be more different in plot and writing styles! Plus, I had no idea Under the Dome is 1000 pages until I opened the ebook!

Both are huge books, Katie! I have both in hardback and can barely hold them up! :)

Karen wrote: "Ooohhhh, The Host and Prodigy are favorites of mine"I LOVED Legend, its probably my favourite dystopian, so I can't wait to get started on Prodigy!
And I've been wanting to read The Host for ages, I'm just a little bit worried about the number of pages, not that I cant read that much, but my experience with books that are over 600 pages tend to have a lot of unessecary deatails and it makes me lose interest, so im a bit worried about that, but I am also so exicted to start it because the whole concept sounds really interesting, also I'm buddy reading it so hopefully we're all gonna have fun with it :D
I wasn't as big on the Legend series as most, but it is one of the few dystopian trilogies that got better book by book, IMO. So if you loved book one, you're gonna love the whole thing.
Lana wrote: "I am currently reading

Oh awesome! I'm really liking the sequel so far :) It's a dark, depressing world but I still have hope for a happy ending! And DeStefano's writing is beautiful.
