I didn't like The Perks of Being a Wallflower either. I thought it was boring and confusing. I may still see the movie, though. Haven't decided.

The book really is... awful. xD I had to stop reading because Charlie was giving me a headache with all his crying. (He is 15 by the way and cries all the time and doesn't know what masturbating is. Go figure.)

Yeah, he's complicated for sure. If you read Shatter Me, I think you'll find the same with Warner. Especially after you read the novella, Destroy Me.

It's a standalone at the moment but the author said there's potential for another and she'd like to do that in the future. Don't worry, you won't be left hanging!
I don't mind cliffhangers actually, but if there was ever a sequel, it would be no sooner than next year, so standalone sounds pretty good! :P
