Bee (justabluebee) I'm starting Uniquely Unwelcome by Brandy Nacole after reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky . I do NOT recommend that book. Seriously. The movie is great, but the books really isn't. xD I didn't even finish it.

DeAnna (dee84812) | 671 comments I didn't like The Perks of Being a Wallflower either. I thought it was boring and confusing. I may still see the movie, though. Haven't decided.

The movie is a lot better. The book really is... awful. xD I had to stop reading because Charlie was giving me a headache with all his crying. (He is 15 by the way and cries all the time and doesn't know what masturbating is. Go figure.)

I still have to read that book, though I do already own it. I have heard some good things about it and even read the prequel, but for some reason I still haven't started reading this.

I finished My Love Lies Bleeding (Drake Chronicles, #1) by Alyxandra Harvey , it was pretty good! It read really fast!

Now onto Me, Him, Them, and It by Caela Carter , which is good, but kind of depressing. Maybe because I have a teenage daughter, so the whole thing scares me to pieces!

Jeann (Happy Indulgence) (happyindulgence) | 258 comments Yeah, it actually pleasantly surprised me. I wasn't sure what to expect from it, but lucky I pushed through the start!

Oh I also recently finished Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee ...wow, just wow.

Amanda (emennal) I just finished Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia (which I looked up on a total whim after seeing the movie trailer, then got completely sucked into it when I read the sample). I started that last night, and finished it about an hour ago. Getting ready to start Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia now.

Yeah, he's complicated for sure. If you read Shatter Me, I think you'll find the same with Warner. Especially after you read the novella, Destroy Me.

message 747: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah (rebekahc) It's a standalone at the moment but the author said there's potential for another and she'd like to do that in the future. Don't worry, you won't be left hanging!

message 748: by Reem (new)

Reem Eid (reemeid) | 29 comments I don't mind cliffhangers actually, but if there was ever a sequel, it would be no sooner than next year, so standalone sounds pretty good! :P
