Jenny wrote: "I stayed up late last night and finished
and it was BRILLIANT! Loved this trilogy, great from start to finish! If you love a good fantasy, these books are amazing!"No, no, no. I don't have enough time to read the ones already on my TBR list. Now I've got to check this one out. Read and loved the Mistborn trilogy, back to back last year.
They are so unique and different, completely different from any fantasy I've read in YA, and just lyrical and gorgeous! You are right, Karen, major book withdrawals! Anything I read now will pale in comparison I'm sure!
Finished
and this is an excellent read. Have you guys read these yet? I can't believe I have not heard a lot about it. Now I am listening to
and reading
because I am trying to be a grown up.
I'm finishing up with The Fellowship of the Ring and then moving on to either 1Q84 or Slaughterhouse-Five :)

I finished reading
and I really liked it! Really great twist on fairy tales! And also very dark, did not feel more like YA than MG!
I just finished reading
straight through--it was a good, fun, quick read, but the last third of the book--OMG, was seriously so unbelievably SAD, I was bawling by the last chapter, and it took me forever to stop!

Finally got my hands on the audiobook for
! I have been listening to this whole series on audio, and they have been excellent so far :)
I'm going through a bit of a book withdrawal after finishing
. Dang. I have all these books I really want to read but can't seem to settle on any one book! Hope I get over this quickly! ;)
Next up once I can settle on a book will be
or
Which one do you guys think I should read next?

I'm not going to lie, I originally really wanted to read the book because the cover is absolutely gorgeous and it takes place in the 1920s. I'm only a little over a chapter in, but it has a really interesting start. I'm glad I'm FINALLY reading this book.

So far it's like Kingdom Hospital (the tv show) and House on Haunted Hill (the newer movie) crossed with a boarding school story.

It's not quite as good as either, but it's still pretty good. :)
Also throw those in the blender with Shutter Island and Supernatural "Asylum" (Season 1, Episode 10.
