Ooh I've heard good things about that one!

I'm reading The Testing (The Testing, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau . Only 3% in but I'm intrigued :)

message 5910: by Joanne Farley (new)

Joanne Farley Yes he is a Aussie author I love his books. This is a lot different to his other ones thought.

That looks interesting I am going to add that to my ever growing list.

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments I'm reading Insurgent right now and loving this series! This second book in the series is great. I've heard the ending of Allegiant isn't good but want to read them all!

I have this one to David but I got the audio from the library and attempted to listen to it but it wasn't doing anything for me so I am going to try reading it. I have heard it's really good so I am hoping the written version will be more to my liking.

I tried it on audio and gave up. It seemed like every dystopian novel I have read thrown together but maybe it was the narrator??

Soooo, I'm at 73% and although I am enjoying the read, it is very similar to The Hunger Games in a lot of ways. I'm hoping some kind of twist at the end will really set it apart from THG. That being said, I've really enjoyed the puzzle-solving aspect of the book and I like the main character.

I'm definitely hooked. Been a while since I found a series that has captured me this much, and I really missed that feeling. Definitely surprised at how much I love it...considering I really wasn't sure I was going to like this series and didn't have very high hopes ha.

:O! I have the prequel and the book on my Kindle. Apparently it's the same case as many books. Plan to read it, but then I push it off, lol.

I have the temptation to start another book. Only because I'm going through The Moon Dwellers quite quickly... mainly due to Early Dismissal yesterday and I forgot to assign chapters, XD.

Oh wow, thank you SO MUCH Shauna, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I always worry when people are reading that series since it was my first one and is definitely a little rough around the edges :) Although I know my writing has improved a lot since then, I'm very proud of the plot and creativity I showed in my debut series, so I'm excited that you liked it!

I'm still working on Percy Jackson. Up to The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #4) by Rick Riordan , but I'm going to take a break after this book to read my review copy of Maybe One Day by Melissa Kantor and Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi

Have you read Neverwhere? That's one of my favorites of his :)
