It's good so far, I'm about halfway in. It's definitely sad.

I just finished Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys and I absolutely loved it!! Had to add it to my fave historical novels of 2013!

Next I'm reading The Farm (The Farm, #1) by Emily McKay

Caitlin (caitlinsiem) | 409 comments I'm rereading Angelfall so that I can read World After. It's funny how things slowly come back to you when you reread a book. And the things you notice the second time around.

message 5559: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 823 comments I just finished Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma and I am so emotional right now. Through about 70% of this book I told myself "not sure how I feel" "not real sure I like this book" but I couldn't stop reading it and the ending tore me up! I am totally drained.

Teresa I'm reading Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi . For some reason I'm having a hard time getting into it and I'm still a little confused by what happened in the first few chapters. Does it become clearer as I read on?

I own this book - bought it without realising what it was about - and I don't want to read it. It just kind of creeps me out. I get it, that the story is tragic and understandable and all. I just really don't want to go down that slippery slope created by emotion and sympathy for the characters. It's just wrong on so many levels. I need to give the book to someone who wants to read it.

Forbidden was a bit an awkward read because of the subject matter. I didn't cry but my heart literally broke of how sad this story is. I didn't read any novels for a week. Official Reading Slump.

message 5595: by Red (new)

Red (littleredreader) So, I didn't make it far in Divergent and it's getting put off again. I do want to read it, but I'm just not feeling a dystopian right now.

Instead, I started reading Tempest (Tempest, #1) by Julie Cross . Nothing special so far, but it's keeping my interest and I'm definitely interested in seeing where it goes.

If it makes you feel better I was not in love with Divergent. I know I am in the minority but I found it lacking in several areas.
