Participating in another readathon starting today! On this one, I'm focusing on my library books! I have 7 that I want to get read and returned in the next week!!
Due to all the Christmas craziness I just finished
this morning. I must say I enjoyed it much more the third time around!!! Starting
after I finish my lunch! PUMPED!!!
just finished with
and it was such a fast and refreshing read. you just need to read it just for the sake of restoring your brain when other books clutter it :) it really was very nice
You'll have to let us know what you think, Dre! Jen and I loved Shatter Me, David did not like it at all if I remember right!

It's not that I didn't like Shatter Me. It was a very strange reading experience for me. I was completely and utterly enthralled with the first half of the book. I literally walked around reading it and bumping into things. I couldn't put it down. I loved the uniqueness and beauty of the writing style. I was just really disappointed in the direction the book went and the glaring plot holes. (view spoiler) But I think Mafi is exceptionally talented and I'll probably continue with the series eventually :)

@David--I completely LOVED the first half of Shatter Me, and I agree that it was better than the second half. The ending didn't bother me, but I felt it wasn't as strong as the first part of the book. In Unravel Me, the second half of the book was actually better for me. I do love this series, but I'm not as serious a fan as other are! I really love Juliette. She totally makes the series for me!
Finished with
and I enjoyed it. Others have told me it disappointed them, but I really had no expectations going in, and I vaguely knew what it was about. It reminded me a little of Ready Player One, but not nearly as good. 4 star read, enjoyable but not groundbreaking or anything.

I really like it so far, and I love how vicious they make the vampires. I'm definitely over romanticizing vampires.
Just finished reading The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl. I'm about to start Speaking From Among the Bones.
I am still trying to read possession....its one of those books that grabs you enough to keep reading but not enough to have you hooked. oh how I'm on a search for something that will grab every fiber of me. its been a long time since I fell in love with a book, well two months lol but that's a long time for a book lover!

Maybe I will try it again later.

Its nothing compared to the Maze Runner, but it was a pretty quick read and I was entertained. It wasn't gripping like the Maze Runner, though.
Right now reading
and LOVING it!! I've had this on my TBR list forever, finally getting to it! So good! Has anyone read
? Its the same author. I haven't read it, I may have to now!

Yes!!! I love that book and IMO it's better than
but that depends on what you like... You should definitely try
:)
LOL Good to know, I will be reading it next year then (Between Shades of Gray, not Monte Cristo LOL)
I could not get Pulseit to work for me today. GRRR I always seem to have issues with it logging me in. Occasionally, it works, but not often! So annoying, I want to read the free books!

Oh geez. I was trying to remember everyone and missed Mike! Thanks Jenny! Yes! We are! Thanks for the memory nudge!
You're welcome! I wasn't sure if you just missed him, or there was some other reason, so just checking! :)
Lots of books for our group to read this month! FYI, you are not required to read the books of the month to participate in this group. Read the ones you are interested in. I've had people ask me this before so just making it clear :) But I have read all the BOTMs, and I recommend them all!
