B.B. Shepherd (bbshepherd) Got halfway through Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer and had to take it back to the library. Gah! Oh well, I want to buy it anyway. So I went back to Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins . I'm on the last three chapters! D: I have to finish it before I let myself watch the movie (which I hear is amazing.)

Tracy | 823 comments I just finished You Slay Me (Aisling Grey Guardian, #1) by Katie MacAlister and it was hilarious! This is the second Katie MacAlister book I have read and they were both very funny. They are good feeling books.

Okay, so I finished Altered (Altered, #1) by Jennifer Rush very quickly and I LOVED it!! Also finished Ink is Thicker Than Water by Amy Spalding and it was a decent contemporary. Also finished Countdown by Michelle Rowen and it was a little disappointing. The world building was lacking, and there was also a lot of instalove (which I hate), but the action was good, as well as the characters. I gave it 3.5 stars. I also finished my reread of The Son of Neptune (The Heroes of Olympus, #2) by Rick Riordan and loved it the second time!

Now reading These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman and I am LOVING it so far!! Wonderful writing, characters and world building!

Ack! Were you out of renewals on Scarlet? That sucks! But at least it gives you more of a reason to own it now too ;)

By the way, have any of you seen the official movie trailer fir Divergent?"

I saw the official first clip and almost fainted from all my goosebumps (if thats even possible) I am so excited for this movie!

I have also heard mixed emotions about Allegiant from my friends who have read it. But few people know the true reason why I am fully invested in this series. I have learned to be open minded to dystopian books especially with my disappointment with Mocking-jay. I am extremely excited to find out how it ends!

Steph is: Pageturning578 (stephw1991) Layla wrote: "Alright, good, SOME support;) After you read it, read the post on the authors blog about why she ended it that way. It made me start crying again...
Thank-you for understanding!"

Thanks for the advice for buying a box of tissues! I literally had to cut everything about this series out of my life (which was extremely hard) so I know very little about what happens other than that people are clearly upset. But its a dystopian novel don't we know by now that characters we love will probably get hurt or worse? Now I really can't wait to find out what happens!

Yes! Time to get down to some serious reading business! There are things I really love about Steelheart and other things not so much (one minor pet peeve: I hate the word 'actually' being overused in books! It sounds so condescending and makes me hate the characters. I noticed it in Allegiant as well and it annoyed the heck out of me). But overall, it's a decent non-serious read.

I've never read something she wrote that I didn't love so I'm very giddy about her debut novel.
Hope you all give it a try.
