I finished A Spark Unseen (The Dark Unwinding, #2) by Sharon Cameron and it was a really good steampunk, I really enjoyed it!

Now reading The Iron Traitor (The Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten, #2) by Julie Kagawa which I am also loving!

message 5404: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 823 comments I am almost finished with Innocence by Dean Koontz and I am loving it. Don't want it to end. I also just finished A Tap on the Window by Linwood Barclay and it was awesome though very sad.

LOL I'll hate that too! I hope it will never take me that long to get a book out :)

Curses, I'm not getting my notifications again!!! Darn you, Goodreads! Got to "improve" all these other things, but can't fix the things that really matter on your site! Okay, rant over!

I hope so too, David! At least while writing a series! I think 6-8 months is doable IMO, this waiting a year crap is ridiculous! Or two years in the case of TMI!

So I FINALLY just got home from work--it was a really long day today. It didn't help that we got more snow and the roads were bad, and the windchills are dangerously low today. Its sad when we are all celebrating the fact that its supposed to be 33 F on Friday!!

I stayed up late last night and finished The Iron Traitor (The Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten, #2) by Julie Kagawa and OMG one of the worst cliffhangers ever!!! I loved the read, but I couldn't believe it ended where it did! UGH

Tonight I'm going to start Tent City by Kelly Van Hull and I'm really excited about it!

message 5417: by Teresa (new)

Teresa And I just read that that is going to be a 6 book series. I just finished Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas and I LOVED it but not loving that I'm going to have to wait forever to finish the series. I do understand though. I'm in the process of trying to write a book and it's been almost a year since I started. It's hard. Of course having three kids and a part time job doesn't make it any easier.Jenny wrote: "I think just about all the big publishers and series have about 1 year between books. Sometimes even longer. Darn...I am not making any big book purchases until after Christmas :( I may buy a few ebooks that are on sale...but too close to Christmas to be buying things for myself!

I got my mom and sister done for Christmas shopping! I still have shopping to do for my kids, my dad, and my brother-in-law.

LOL Kitlina!

I did a challenge the other day, called the Twitter synopsis challenge. You have to describe a book you've read in a 166 characters or less. I choose this book and here was my synopsis:

Anna has a secret--she has 4 hot teenage boys in a lab in her basement. Can Anna learn the truth about her family, the boys and herself?

Its harder than it looks!

Steph is: Pageturning578 (stephw1991) Hi all I have missed my reading community so much during this semester and I am happy to be on winter break for the next month or so and I am very ready to catch up on some reading!

I am almost finished with Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher and it is a very powerful and moving story.

Next on my list I will be re-reading Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth and Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth because I remember nothing about them. I still need to read Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth so please no spoilers!
