I felt the same way about the Bitter Kingdom...I reread the last chapter like 5 times when I finished, because I didn't want to let it go! One of the best YA fantasies EVER!!
Birthmarked is very good, I really enjoyed that series. Very different than most of what is out right now!

Good to know about the audio for Coldest Girl in Coldtown. That sounds like something I'd rather listen to than read.

All 3 of the books in that series, I reread certain scenes a few times, because the characters and their banter is just hilarious, or moving, or beautiful...such great writing! And when I read Crown of Embers for the first time, I reread the whole thing AGAIN that same day!

I unfortunately didn't get into it until about halfway through Crown of Embers but now that I fell in love with the characters and the story, I want to read the first book again and see if it will change my mind since I didn't like it at all the first time around.
So has everyone heard of Kindle First? Its a new thing Amazon is doing--once a month, you can buy an advance copy of selected books for your Kindle for $1.99!
I'm mentioning it because for December, one of the books is
! I loved this book so much, I read and reviewed it when it was still an Indie book and I loved it! It won the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award this year as well. So worth it for $1.99!

Umm...no! I haven't heard this!! That's so cool! Do you have to be an Amazon Prime member? This is a great idea!

Heads up for those with Prime-you get to choose a kindle first book for free every month. :)
This book looks awesome, thanks for the recommendation. :)
@David I don't think so because I am not and I saw the book for 1.99$ with her link. (Didn't buy it though. Maybe it would have stopped me?)
No you don't have to be a Prime member, but it sounds like if you are, you get it free!
I thought it was a great idea, too! I bought Timebound, mainly because nothing else interested me, and now I get the cool new looking cover. I still have my review copy, but that one was from Feb. 2013, so this one is probably been changed a little.

You're welcome, of course! Jen, you especially will LOVE Timebound! :)

And I can't help marvelling at how one of my own characters is close to Chava, at least in some ways. But then, golems fascinate me, and those very aspects are surely part of what should be addressed when writing about them.
Dash & Lily was pretty good...it took me some time to get into it, but I really loved the whole trajectory of the story and the ending!
I can't wait to read Red Hill!

Day 1 of the Reading Cram started off amazingly well! YAY! I have to say, I am a little nervous with such high expectations now! Last I checked, we had 106 participants!!
I finished reading
and it was good, but not great--I enjoyed it, though, pretty quick read!
Now reading
and I'm so glad I picked this to read next, I am LOVING it!!

Just finished finale the Hush hush seriers. omg!! wow!! I am so utterly depressed now that it's over!! decided the only way to move on is to start another book. I just started Shade of Vampire. hope it's good!
I just finished
and loved being in that world! I also just finished
and
in print, and also loved being in that world! I do want to get to
soon, but when will the 3rd book be out? I wonder if I should wait.I started
on audio last night, still reading
in print. I'm debating on the next e-book. I think maybe
or
.

As for your next e-book, both are great choices! Enjoy!
It doesn't have a date or title yet for the third book, so I would assume it will probably be at least fall of 2014. So I would probably wait, althought its a FABULOUS read!!

We're going to have to wait ages for the rest of the books in the a Throne of Glass series, one per year :(

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Is Sarah J. Maas in league with Dan Wells? Are they trying to kill us with suspense?
(it's working)
Jen wrote: "I just finished

I think just about all the big publishers and series have about 1 year between books. Sometimes even longer. Crown of Midnight came out in August. I hate it.
I should just wait for the full series before I start reading, but living in the blogosphere, I have to read what everyone else is reading!! Its a vicious cycle...
Just think, David, someday, when you're all big and famous, we may be cursing you to HURRY UP and get the next book out!! lol
