Squee!! DEAN KOONTZ sent me an autographed copy of
A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog along with a personal note OUT OF THE BLUE. I sent him a letter in September and he responded! And included this book. I'm humbled and in awe! And it's amazing! I'm enchanted with the story of his life and his dog, Trixie. :)

You're such a fast reader, Jenny!! I didn't get too much reading in today as what I thought I'd do. :(
But I did get a couple of projects done! And some work. Boo to work! ;-)

I've just started reading Finding Time by Jason A. Grunewald. He's a local author from my neck of the woods! :)I've just finished
and it was a brilliant follow up to The Raven Boys! I love Maggie Stiefvater's voice.
Oooo I need to get to Dream of Thieves! So many books, so little time...my usual song and dance!

"I have wanted to try The Coldest Girl in Coldtown Jenny. Glad you liked it.
If you like dark vampire stories, you will love it!! Made me think of Anne Rice, but much more modern, with a flare of dystopian flavor.
I love Anne Rice!!! Well, her older stuff so I definitely have to read this. Put it on hold at the library.
I will if I ever get it. I'm the 4th on the list so it will be over a month before I get it I'm sure.
I keep hearing good things about Slammed, I may have to try it!
So in reading Just One Year, I've come to a conclusion--Gayle Forman is better at writing a male's perspective than a female's. Just One Day was from the girl's perspective, and it was just okay for me. So far, I am loving Just One Year a lot more, and its from the guy's perspective. It was the same for me with If I Stay and Where She Went.

Slammed is excellent Jenny. Hoover is a genius and I haven't read anything by her that isn't amazing.
I finished reading
and I really liked it, more than Just One Day. Not as much as If I Stay and Where She Went, though.
